Was there some issue with your account? Did you report it late? Although SE is slower than WoW (but not by all that much) most of the people that I know that have been hacked have usually had a 2-3 week turn around on them, and they get a full rollback no questions asked once approved.

Yeah I understand it's an option, as opposed to waiting a few weeks.

But if that care package gives you a naked toon whats the point lol. It would make sense for non 80's, in fact it would be pretty cool to get the gold on a non 80... but it sucks that instead of waiting a day or 3 like before, we have to either wait several weeks or get just some gold in place of it.

At least I have an authenticator, I bought 2 of them the week they came out. Pretty obvious now that If you don't have one you are a fool.

No, it happened to me... i got like 120 triumph badges & 24 frost badges... and they gave me back all my soul bound gear "only." But it was awesome because the ppl who hacked my account only had it for like 2hrs and I only lost a lot of consumables & all my tank gear, but I could still dps just fine and was able to do all the normal stuff until i got my free 24 frost badges lol. If i wanted to get everything back then they said it would take several weeks

SE got much faster at rolling accounts back. an account given to me was hacked, thank god I had the Keys that went with it. little over a week(maybe 2) and it was back. Only a mule account so did not seem long to me.

You must of waited or something because, or SE just hates you maybe.

they didn't get faster with mine. i call in november, tell them i can't get in my account, they lock it and work on it. i call weekly, and just last week get it back. not only that, they didn't roll it back, even though i told them i know my stuff was all sold off, and i was able to make another character with my same name in-game so i'm positive the account was transferred. before i can even check the account to verify what i already know, (which is the fact everything is gone) i have a $40 bill on the account to reactivate, which makes NO sense seeing as you can't play if you miss a single payment. they re-freeze the account, and now i'm on week 2 of waiting for the douche to clear my bill so i can just have it re-frozen for a third time to get it rolled back. "much faster at rolling accounts back" my ass. No offense.

So, my mage is connected to a different email, which is also running a friend's char, and he got jacked. (not even going to say hacked, it's dumb as fuck how they got it)

First thing, in doing a little research, I found that taking the care package = end of deal, no more restoration. So, don't do it if it's not worth it.


But more interesting is that apparently they were going to sell the char, because while everything in his bags worth anything was sold, as was everything from bank, and shit pulled off AH and taken... everything he was wearing is still on him, 4 piece t9, nibelung, 264 neck, blah blah blah.

200+ triumphs and 46 frost badges missing tho, and a boe belt worth 5-10k gone, so no way in hell are we accepting care package.


Fortunately I saw it happening and got a GM call in while it was in process, so hopefully it'll be pretty easy to get the actual restoration done.


But the best part is in seeing where their priorities truly lie:

The hackers put authenticators on now... which was removed really fast, but I still got a "free" core hound pup out of it...

It only took Blizzard a week to give me 99% of my Items back. I'm actually pretty satisfied with it. I also noticed they didn't restore my deleted main so i resubmitted a ticket and he was back the next day.

Still Waiting for my Authenticator though... the USPS site won't let me see where it is. =/ Ordered it the day after i was Hacked (jan. 15) and it shipped the following Tuesday i believe, never got an e-mail about that though.

Hopefully its not lost somewhere.. should be here this week ><

Hmmm now i'm a bit worried... i mean i basically live next door to Blizz lol. Well you know USPS they take it all over the country before finally delivering it to you.

If it doesn't come this week i'll just assume it got lost in the crazy storm we had down here in socal last month and contact blizz or something
