Ok so yeah yeah I googled and wikianswer'd and all that shit already. Mixed responses. Most say you're gonna get increased chance of anorgasmia and suicide. Others say a couple glasses is fine. I see.

Here's the thing, I'm supposed to be on this shit for a decade and a half, and it's my freebie semester up at vocational school. I'm reaaaally not inclined to go sober the whole way through. I'm mostly a weekday drinker, no less than three days a week, half the time stop at sixteen shots or so (I'm 5'9" 175 and can handle a lot).

Now I can't imagine this is going to kill me if I mix it, but everything I find on the net is not a "first hand experience" just some web MD reciting what the bottles say. Drank on other meds before and never had a problem.

Did this crap back in high school, but I think it was on Zoloft maybe? I never remember. Either way, as long as you don't let the crap get the better of you it doesn't affect you worth a shit.

The meds are nice and help, but half the time it's all state of mind or something silly. If you're suggesting you'll drink every now and then it should be even easier. I personally went out and did all sorts of stupid crap all the time while on the stuff, so I can say it didn't do much to me.

I was drinking with my friend and his girlfriend and they kicked me out of his room so they could have sex and I thought that nobody loved me so I took 16 sleeping/anti-depressant pills to try to kill myself and I was in agony all night it was really painful but it paled in comparison to the pain that I felt when I realized that I was still alive

Drinkin on anti depressants is sick shit. I've had some pretty awesome nights when mixing stuff with alcohol. As far as my experience goes, it just makes it a cheap night out as you'll be plastered on 3-4 drinks.

Hilariously ironic cause I was also on lexapro for a while.

Hated the drug itself. I was on a high dosage (30mg) and even in consecutive weeks with no drugs or alcohol had shitty side effects. What else have you tried? I was on Paxil for many years and found that it was making me lethargic. Switched to Cymbalta which worked well for about a month but I stopped eating and eventually hit a huge low point in depression. I'm on nothing now, and I feel great.

Effexor and uh what was it called Alprazolam? I'm switching over to Welbutrin soon now, because of the few side effects of Lexapro have become a nusiance

I was on 30, then 20, now 10. Effexor made me really jittery but at the same time very dull and boring. Like I had all this energy and nothing to do. Alprazolam just knocked me out for 12-18 hours at a time.

I am also on antidepressants too, I am taking zyban to quit smoking and the other day (my 2nd day of taking it) i was taking shots of tequila during lunch and the stress of getting caught had my emotions bouncing from homicidal to depressed every 10 seconds and it fucking sucked. But today I just had a couple beers and I feel fucking awesome. I am drunk in 2 dranks and feel ultra happy.
