Hosting FFXI PServer over LAN, Needs Regs

Friends and I decided, out of boredom mostly, to set up a projectxi P server over our school's LAN for some epic ffxi LAN partying.

So far its been really smooth sailing, got a tech to log us in and let us install mysql and a database editor (navicat ftw!)

Without needing anything else the server and client work perfectly, we can successfully create and log into account sin the database, but now things are getting tricky.

We've successfully installed FFXI on a public folder in a drive, and have given ourselves admin rights over the folders the server/client/ffxi are chilling out in.

Downside is ffxi's use of the whole registry, which is on the individual computer's C drives. Because of this we had to sift through and hunt down as many of the regs for ffxi on the original computer it was installed through then export em.

We then created a .bat at the very root of all the shared folders we are using that when run, runs all the regs, creates desktop links to windower/the client and even opens up a notepad file with instructions on how to use em.

Downside is we've clearly missed some of the regs as when we attempt to run ffxi we still get missing registries error >

If we run it from an admin account on the original computer it works perfectly. To compensate at the moment we just copied the entire fucking localmachine and shoved that in, it takes 20 years to run through but seems to fix the issue.

Anyways, what I'd like to know is if anyone knows of a complete list of every single individual ffxi and POL registry, as using the entire localmachine registry is way too slow. We're only missing like 1-2 Im guessing, or just a single folder we overlooked. Halp?

"Epic ffxi LAN partying"? You realize ProjectXI mobs don't even fight back against you, almost all of the damage formulas are wrong, and most spells don't even work? Going to be so epic.

They attack back, they just don't use TP moves. Damage formulas probably need work, but they do fight back.

Well, I don't consider straight attacking much "fighting back", that turns every HNM fight into a fight against a really strong crab. Not much epic about that. My point was mostly just that playing on ProjectXI doesn't resemble the actual game much yet.

Don't get me wrong, I think they're doing an amazing job, and it's incredible how much they've already gotten functional. It's just not something I'd actually want to play on for more than a short time yet. I think urat is expecting it to be a lot more than it is.

By epic I mean the fact that we're getting CTS credits for playing a video game.

So on topic, anyone know where I can get my hands on these registries?
