I doubt cowboys and indians days were as fun as movies make them look. I bet the future is definetly better.

Exploring space is really exciting and everything but the freedom that was there in the old days....not the incurable diseases and stuff but being able to go hide on a mountian or canyon if you wanted to and no one would care. now days there are people everywhere.

Of course this could happen in space too...just go find a quite planet to visit for awhile....but the men have to wear six shooters on their hips with spurs and cowboy hats in the future or its no go.

I wish in the next 10 years we can drop all of the war shit and vest everyone into the space program. If the US spent a quarter of what we spend in researching bombs and shit I think we could have a shot of travling to other planets with in 20 years. Doing that would jump start our economy and create a ton of jobs.

Although, technology-wise, it was at an interesting time in that not everything was discovered yet, and you were free enough that you could set off with a gun, horse, some supplies and head off in some direction no one's gone before and have yourself an adventure.

And dysentery, starvation, pneumonia, and losing 63 oxen, 12 bushels of food and 5 wagons every time you cross a river.

Yeah, space exploration will probably be a bit more fun, as long as we've progressed far enough to not make space travel as risky and uncomfortable as the old west was, by comparison.
