Aqua is still alive in the darkness world shit and she meets Ansem at the end of the secret trailer. So it looks like she never aged in those 8 or 9 years in DARKNESS meaning we will probably see her in the ever possible sequel.

Something makes me believe we'll see a birth by sleep final mix in a year or so.

Aside from Phantom and Kurt Ziza, the special secret bosses have seemed to have some sort of tie-in later on.

Like the unknown guy in KH1FM turned out to be Xemnas and Lingering Sentiment turned out to be Terra's armor, etc
