Yes, I'm a hater...

nah dog your pretty much just a straight hater
I consider myself almost always happy but I bitch about little things... It's all good though because I like to bitch...
When I go to bed I tell myself today is the best time to be alive and tomorrow will most certainly be better and I wake up with a hop and skip my way around my house. Some times it's a mental skip but I'm still really happy to be who I am and do what I do.
Also, it helps to love the shit out of your friends and them love the shit out of you. Why focus on 1-2 people that dislike you when you have hundreds who love you? That's always my way of looking at shit. Don't let stuff rent space in your mind.
Also it helps to not worry about simple shit. Money is just paper. I don't particularly care if I have it or if I don't, I can have fun either way. I don't put prices on shit and I frankly don't care what the smith's have, I care what I have... In fact, almost all of my money goes to making other random people as happy as I am, lol.
Strange? Nope. She just know where she stands and realizes she's rich in life, and so are you.

why yes... yes, you can be clinically happy.
Shit come to think of it I can be having the worst day ever and it just doesn't bug me. Today I got ripped off $100, got harassed and my shit searched by border guards coming back from canada, start a new semester today, bounced on two charges and overdrafted my bank account, and found out I'm like $1k in the hole by today's count and barely have enough gas to get to school but I'm fucking beaming when I walk down the road.
Maybe she is weird and I am too, who knooows.
it is no secret to any of us that you are fucking weird
idk~ Someone commented the other day "You smile all the time. I like that." I don't have the most wonderful life, but I have goals and have my shit in order. I have undiagnosed depression, but I started taking St. John's Wort a few years ago and it has really helped me. I exercise regularly and eat well (good diet, homemade everything is better :Q) everyday. I like myself as a person, and do the things I want to because it is always my decision, so I really don't have regrets (aside from wishing I lived a super-healthy lifestyle all along, but hey.) Sure I have my own problems, but that's okay as long as I always own them (generally creating a problem as a result of choosing the lesser of two evils sort of thing) which is okay.
I used to be ashamed of myself all the time though. I was always heavier than my older brother (who was rail-thin) so I got called fat-names (Jellyroll comes to mind) which hurt me a lot. I was never really fat though, which was something I could never see, because I always equated being "not fat" to being boney like my brother. I hit puberty and got called a fag/faggot/gay and all that, on top of all the regular teenage crap. I also was extremely ashamed of my body, because I started to go through puberty differently than anyone I knew (oh the horror of the locker rooms.) My voice never dropped, I grew breasts (which I hid by wearing loose clothes and a jacket all the time), and my hips started to widen (which I thankfully never noticed until after I had already liked myself.) In middle school I hid my body by wearing my gym clothes underneath my regular clothes everyday. In highschool, I really tried to compensate (to stay looking like a boy) by taking weightlifting for a year, but I could never keep up with the other boys (toned up but no bulk.) I kind of gave up after that, and went to college.
4 years of still hiding what I looked like, while progressively becoming fatter, I became fearful of my suicidal (cliche I'm sure) thoughts, because, while I had them since the beginning, they would hang around for more than just a single day. I used to be able to fall asleep, and wake up and they'd be gone, but I became afraid when they were still there when I awoke. I started to entertain thoughts of killing myself on the weekends that my roommate would leave and doing it behind boxes underneath my bed, where nobody could (wrongfully) keep me alive if they found me. I finally confessed how I was feeling to my mom after going home for christmas and she wanted me to start SOMETHING, and I didnt want to go to the doctor and sound stupid for how I felt. She suggested OTC St. John's Wort, that I could take without anybody knowing, and I started that.
I felt better, and the depressed feeling (and accompanying thoughts) started to lose their grip, and was having them less often, and for a smaller duration of time. I felt genuinely happy, and felt my first real laugh in a long time over something stupid (turning a baseball cap backwards and wearing it on the bridge of the nose like "thug" black people [RACISM] do---on a white guy friend of mine.) It felt good, my head felt good on a pillow (I had forgotten how it was supposed to feel good.) I had another year of school left, then moved back home for nursing school. It was that first semester back (while petitioning to get into the program) that I decided to lose the weight, and have been regularly exercising for 2+ years now. As I lost the weight, I began to like who I saw in the mirror more and more. I came to see breasts I had as not disfiguring, but more and more unique and interesting (for lack of a better description lolz.) They didn't go away when I lost weight, and the reason my hips were so wide was not because I was fat, it was bone. I started to see myself as "not fat" anymore, but I wasn't skinny. I was healthy, I hit the "normal weight" range for my height (insert the inaccuracies of BMI here) and the person I was... was not manly. I didn't have a V-shape, I had an hourglass (of awesomeness), and short of having surgery to remove my breasts, taking testosterone, and having someone fucking grind down my bones, this was what I looked like, and I liked it. Things made more sense, and I wasn't ashamed of myself. It reoriented my self-concept, and the things I hated about myself became things I loved. Even down to that little (estrogen-induced) pooch of fat (mons pubis) that normal-bodied men don't have. I mean, I have a mound of fat to facilitate vaginal intercourse, and I don't have a vagina. Sweet.
But yeah, to the girl who wondered why I smile all the time, it's because I like myself.
tl;dr
Positive changes can make you happy. I have to go with the folks who say moving made her happy.
