I wasn't mentioning someone paying for the abjuration. Chances are if you're in a good Salvage group then you probably are likely *tho not all the time* in an HNM shells that does Einherjar/Kings.

Cursed Dalmy on Phoenix is 1.2 Mil which is a lot easier on the wallet then the cost of Morrigan's Body.

If you're gonna want to buy the abjuration then you're better off spending the gil towards Morrigan's. I didn't pay for my Abody so I can't see myself paying anyone for an Abjuration at all considering they arn't hard to get anymore if you're in a decent shell.

Gonna have to disagree with this seeing as Vermy locks away your head slot and Dalmy doesn't.

That hardly makes any difference at all. You can still macro/script/Spellcast Warlock's Chapeau in and gain the Fast Cast effect without having to idle in it. It's easier if you're the lazy sort, sure, but if you make the effort there's not really any discernible difference. Max MP really isn't a valid argument either.

By that logic why bother spending large amounts of gil on a Refresh body in the first place? Getting into the whole cost:benefit shit is never a constructive use of time in a game where people pay millions for +1 or +2 to a stat

As I said before, Dalmatic isn't "trash". If you're in an HNMLS and already have a Chapeau but no Robe then it makes perfect sense to uncurse A.Body should you happen to get the abjuration; heck, no one can begrudge you spending a million or so for the opportunity to wear a Refresh piece that doesn't look like ass on BLM or non-Duelist's RDM. But Robe undeniably has more utility and pretty much causes Dalmatica to become obsolete outside of HP down/max MP macros. In that sense, it is indeed the superior piece.
