3 things i don't like about this film "so far" so they could be wiped out by the film or they could piss me off more

#1 bitch don't change the story i don't want no splicing in my spider man movie!
#2 isn't the Doc meant to be a friend of peters? not sure i like him attacking spider man in the first film (since it was awhile til the doc tried to regrow his arm)
#3 peter Parker a skater? no he was a pencil pusher with no social life i don't want a cool super hero, no i do but we already have Iron man and batman

#2 is kind of ironic considering how they handled Octavius in Spider-Man 2

We’re used to Stan Lee cropping up in cameos in films based on Marvel Comics characters, but now he’s popping up in a game based on one of those films too.

Stan The Man has been turned into a digital superhero for a special feature of The Amazing Spider-Man game that will be unlockable by buyers who pre-order the game through Amazon.com.

Players will be able to play as Stan Lee on own special mission to track down pages of a lost manuscript. Lee himself even provides the voice as he swings and quips his way around Manhattan (and we’ll be very disappointed if he doesn’t say, “Excelsior!” at some point).

“I’m just a living cartoon,” says Stan. “I couldn’t believe it when I got the call from Activision. Then they asked would that be Okay with me – would I want to do it? I shouted, ‘Of course!’ It sounded sensational.

“This wasn’t easy for me, practicing all these moves. I’m just afraid when they see me do it, that I may put Spider-Man in the shadows. I hope they don’t have me looking too realistic and life-like. That would be tough for the Spider-Man fans. I swung through the city like an average guy would do, instead of giving it my usual derring-do.

“I’m like a prisoner in a cell marking the days off until I get the game. Every game Activision does, I am so impressed with the quality of it: the visuals, the sound, the imagination that they put into it. They are all true to the comic books, but they are all different enough from the comic books that it is a totally different experience.”

I can understand why people are upset over this movie and the changes. I was too at first, but comics often change origin stories around and also try to reboot their series. Wonder Woman recently was rebooted and her origin story was changed. Hell, the new Spiderman is a half black half hispanic 13 year old. The way I see it, since Marvel sold the rights for Spiderman to Sony, there is a stipulation in the contract that states that if Sony doesn't make a movie every X years, the rights go back to Marvel. That pushed Sony to make a new movie (Spiderman 4) but Toby didn't want to do another movie and Rami supposedly wanted more time (or didn't want to do a movie without Toby) so they decided on a reboot. I guess they wanted to do something different and not retell the same origin story but put a spin on it. Besides, at least this spiderman makes his own webbing and his first girlfriend is Gwen instead of meeting her later after Mary Jane like in the first series.

Agreed, but I do like the actor. And I like that this Spiderman is a smart ass, and not a mopey, miserable loser like Tobey Maguire.
