Got the blind people version for my screening.
It was like it knew what i was seeing..
Got a free movie out of it, however.

Zerk seal of approval, guess I'll turn brain off dick on at the very least for this one then.
Hopefully going to see this movie this weekend, sounds pretty good from the info I've skimmed over so far.

Interesting article on Steve Ditko, who created Spider-Man
NY Post
Saw the midnight showing in IMAX. I thought it was well done. Definitely better than the first of the Toby trilogy. And I agree with the two that said the choreograph was really good. Shit was tight. The jokes were great as well.
Q about post creds

just got back from it, was kind of overhyped to go see it and saw most of really funny s..t here in the thread. I will admit all the fighting i loved but didn't like martin sheen or sally fields well nevermind i think she did good guess i didn't like martin much though. Lot of CG but we all knew that. Pacing and writing felt a little off in terms of dialogue and one or two scenes where you are like 'Really!!!' but other than that generally good movie the audience made the movie fun for me. This will not be a day one purchase for me unlike Avengers (Sept 25).
Spoiler: show
Overall I thought this was a much better 1st movie compared to the first Spiderman movie. A lot of the movie seemed a bit rushed for me, there were a lot of holes in the story that were small, but noticeable to make me think "Wait a second... what happened to ____ or how did we get from A to B?" If they do go forward with a few sequels I would definitely like to see the inclusion of enemies we haven't seen yet in the movies, or at least done properly (I'm looking at you Venom). Seeing villains like Kingpin, Vulture, Electro, Kraven, Morbius, Mysterio, Scorpion, Rhino, and my personal favorite Carnage. Personally I think it would be fucking amazing if they made a series of movies surrounding Spiderman, Venom, and Carnage.
That shit would need to be Rated R just based off of Carnage alone. A deranged symbiote + a psychotic murderer would have to be rated R in order to show the real monster of Venom and Carnage
I just want it rated R to see Emmas tits.
http://screencrush.com/amazing-spider-man-trilogy/The Amazing Spider-Man is the first installment in a movie trilogy that will explore how our fave hero’s journey was shaped by the disappearance of his parents.

We already knew about a sequel & now we know about a threequel.
I guess if they're just planning to do a trilogy there's no way in hell they could spit out a decent Venom/Carnage story line is just two more films. It would be way too complicated.
Any way, loved this movie, loved Andrew Garfield (he's so dreamy and nerdy and awkward). There were a couple scenes where I was like oh the editor kinda screwed up there. Someone mentioned there being holes in the plot because it goes from point A to point B really fast sometimes but really I get it. Not many people would have wanted to sit through three hours of an origins story that everyone already saw 10 years ago (which seems to be the biggest complaint I've seen so far).
If the creators of the film or a viewer simply set out to see a movie that is overall superior to Raimi's Spider-man then this movie accomplished that easily and your money will be well spent. There are improvements on some fronts here from Garfield's portrayal of Parker/Spidey, the humor, the technical effects, the chemistry between Garfield/Stone and the eventual climax of the movie.
That being said this movie is no 'Avengers' and is subject to some flaws that bothered me mainly in the script and in certain scenes.

seen the movie today, HATED it, wanted to walk out on it. Freaking made Parker a douche bag. Sun glasses check, hoodie and jacket with the collar flipped up check, skateboard check. What they did was. Poochy from the simpsons.
Cant stand the actor they had for him or the love interest, yeah they pass as high school kids alright as much as Luke Perry does. Decent special effects minus the goomba head lizard. Oh did I mention Soap Opera drama, drama and more drama. I knew I was going to hate this film going in, was not disappointed. Had a decent overall plot, but could not enjoy any of the characters and who ever did the backgroud music should go back to the early 90's.
would rank it as 1st spiderman movie > 2nd spiderman movie >>> 4th spiderman movie >>>>>> crap >>>>>> 3rd spiderman movie
another gripe I had with the movie is that it seems like everyone knows his identity, his mask is off at every opportunity, was hoping he would have his mask on alot so I didn't have to see the actors face. Should also had more witty comments.
