I dunno it just didn't fell right to me for some reason.
Um ... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1121962/ ... it's legit....
Look, have Norman Osborn come back to life and do Ellis' Thunderbolts. I don't care about anything else. (Normal Thunderbolts would never work.)
that was my bad, I changed the title. further clarified now though
original title was something about Spidey 4 villain, which obviously doesn't matter now, so yeah
Are you shitting me? Vulture is part of the Sinister Six, was Sandman top tier? The question is whether Sony will agree to the lesser Spider-Man villain for such an important tentpole franchise.
Again, spider-man 3 was the fucking sandman retconning spidey's ENTIRE origin, this can't possibly be worse.
Sandman wasn't the main focus of the story though. The main focus was far more on the relationship between Peter and MJ and Peter and Harry. Then you also had Venom to go along with Sandman. Going with just Vulture for a film is a horrid idea.
Oddly enough the lack of focus in spidey 3 was a big enough problem in and of itself. Eddie, Harry, or Flint (to a much much much lesser extent) would have been fine. Spidey has about a billion villains for a reason.
If they pair up villains also they should have at least tried to make them make sense. Venom and Sandman pairing makes no sense at all from the comic standpoint. Now had they done something like Kraven and Chameleon that would have worked. Especially in my opinion if they went along with a modified version of the buried alive storyline with Chameleon then taking Spider-Man's place and causing havoc around the city.
Ready for some black spiderman?

Why not, they are throwing color in many other movies now-a-days.
