Two computers have same IP on network...

I've had an Airport Extreme (802.11n Wi-Fi) for about 3 weeks. First week worked fine great fast connection. Then the connection just died, was unable to connect on any of the 3 computers! Kept saying two computers had same IP on the network. I browsed the forums and everything people said to do I have done. (Like get the IP automatically) Nothing works.... Then it randomly connects today when I walk by after 2 weeks of no internet.. But, I'm unable to play my games, watch a TV series or anything of value on it cause the connection is so bad now! Often disconnecting for 5-20 sec.

Also, it randomly connected before but when I tried to fix the slowness (By unplugging the router) I was unable to connect for a week with the same problem...

So any help to fix this would be great, both the IP on the network and the slowness I now have cause of it.

P.S. I'm still unable to connect to Xbox live on my Xbox...

Have you tried setting a static IP for all the hardware hooked up to it? Shouldn't have any problems like that if you set them all manually, and do it properly. Google around for how to set a static IP in your exact router type.

    Assuming everything is setup right:

    command prompt:

    ipconfig flushdns
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew

did this with the exception of the first ipconfig b4 with the result of not being able to get new ip. I never had the big of a problem with my old router.

Try setting a static as stated, should be doing that as common practice if youre ever hooked up to a router/switch/etc. Obviously if you switch networks alot it may not work to your advantage, but if you plan to never unhook your pc, good idea to do it. Granted theres always a 99.9% chance your pc will retain it's dynamic ip anyway, still a good idea to set to static so when you configure port and other options in the router for that specific ip, you know itll stick.

For external IP - If your setup static and your ISP uses semi-static (assigns the same IP) you will get this message if they do maintenance and assign your IP to someone else.

For internal IP - setting all connecting machines as static should fix it, but so should setting all as dynamic.
