Why doesn't the lazy Dominican Republic get off their asses and aid Haiti??? You're all lucky the earthquake's strong tremors didn't rupture past 15 miles along the fault line which passes through the entire island of Hispanola. A 7.0 Earthquake like this usually has the strong tremors rupture for about hundreds of miles.

You all need to get some God in your lives, and stop disrespecting the people who suffer, it's not their faults that they live in poverty. This is a nation that has suffered many natural disasters one after the other. They suffered 4 hurricanes in the 2008 Atlantic Hurricane Season, and recently paid off a big debt to the US for helping them recover from that. Now they'll be in more debt because of this catastrophic event.

I say, why post negative shit in a thread when you can show sympathy you inconsiderate fucks? Do you even realize that an Earthquake can happen ANYWHERE on Earth and are pretty much unpredictable??? Most Caribbean Islands aren't prepared for earthquakes (they don't have the equipment to keep constant measure of seismic activity like places such as Indonesia and California etc). Please show some respect people and pray for them, don't throw a bunch of shit when they are already going through deep pools of trouble.

This is a nation where people who live outside of the capital, eat mud pies. There's not much trees in Haiti or shrub. Rockslides probably happened and we won't know til daylight, to what extent the damage really is.

P.S: Fuck this mother earth/ mother nature bullshit. It can be metaphorical in some way, but the Earth did not create us, the Earth is not our mother, GOD is, we were created in the image and likeness of him, WE ARE GOD'S CHILDREN. I suggest you all pray for the Haitians and pray that what happened there doesn't happen where you live, because Earthquakes are probably the most unpredictable and damaging natural disasters. I was fortunate to meet up with my cousin in the Air Force while he was attending school in Japan to better his Japanese back in August.
