Which is better and why?
1) NIN - Blade: Jin --> Ancient Torque or Breeze/Thunder Gorget?
2) SAM - Penta Thrust --> Ancient Torque or Shadow Gorget?

I'm sorry if this is already posted somewhere but
At what point, in terms of how many merits, or mnd+ gear etc. does Paralyze II become better/more potent than Paralyze?
Hecatomb Cap or Maat's Cap for Thf WS?
is rajas+tor ring better than lavas/kush on mnk, blu, pup, and nin for tp? what about ws? Assume normal gear in regular event shell events (just to many to list, variables etc). I don't feel like going out for lavas/kusha if it is not better then rajas+tor ring normally. I understand shit is situational bla blah, but I am just asking for general all purpose stuff, I dont have the room for carry rings that may be better 1% of the time if the moon lights up right and drunk mithras are parading around with taru's in onion helmets on their tails. You get what I am saying.
Rajas + T.Ring is 2-3% increase in damage from 1 fSTR on lowish damage weapons.
Rajas + T.Ring will probably reduce the number of attack rounds to 100TP (but without details this is impossible to account for)
L/K ring is at best a 1.5% increase in hit rate and a small increase from the attack.
* If Rajas reduces your Xhit build then it will be nearly certainly be better.
* If Rajas doesn't reduce your Xhit build then it will be close, but as long as your accuracy is ok (pizza/sushi on the jobs you listed) then Rajas is still probably best
* If your accuracy sucks then you have either eaten the wrong food or turned up on the wrong job. In which case it doesn't matter what you wear.
Until Hagun.... Shin or Oni?
For Helix on SCH, Uggy Pendant or Wit Pendant?
really haguns only 5%? You sure about that?
hmm wonder why there is such a piss fest over it then.
Partially because in any situation where you rely more heavily on WS damage (Meditate => WS or something like that), Hagun eats Onimaru. Some may argue that in many situations where Onimaru would approach Hagun (melee damage is significant), you should be using Polearm.
hmm that makes sense, but then if that point comes in you probably can benefit from the 5 acc a lot more on oni too?
This may definitely have been true in the past, but now Pizza is around it's not really so much of an issue. Most mobs where melee damage becomes significant are those which Tachi: Gekko "caps out" on lower than Penta Thrust would (since it is multihit). This means Polearm should stomp Great Katana supposing high enough accuracy (not to mention it benefits far more from buffs such as Chaos Roll/Berserk on these type of mobs).
Kind of going along with the Hagun thing:
Rindomaru (STP+14 WS Damage+4%), Pole Grip, Tiphia Sting, Turban, PCC, Wyvern Earring, Brutal, Askar Body, Hachiman kote+1, Rajas Ring, Ulth Ring, Foragers Mantle, B. Haidate, Hachiman Sune-ate. Pizza+1. Full merits.
vs
Hagun, Pole Grip, Tiphia String, Turban, PCC, Wyvern Earring, Brutal, Haub+1, Hachiman Kote, Rajas Ring, Ulth Ring, Foragers Mantle, B. Haidate, Fuma Kyahan. Pizza+1. Full Merits.
So basically 5 hit without Usukane vs 6 hit? I asked before but got a very simple "no" by one person only.
Out of those two comparisons alone, if you can maintain high/capped accuracy with the Askar 5-hit, do it. Else the 6hit.
Well ffxicalc says with pizza+1 that setup is 419 Accuracy, which is way more then I need for 98% of the things I do.
