Scorpion Harness +1 versus Antares Harness for an evasion build?

Does the Evasion+AGI outweigh the straight evasion from SH?

If you only care about the eva, get a SH+1 and save yourself 3m.

The only real downfall of this setup is not having Esuna for the DDs but considering BRD & DNC have Erase it's a moot point, COR should /DD.

I'd imagine more often than not, your DD in salv are not going to be capped on haste. Personally I'd rather take 9% more haste over bonus attack.
You have this backwards, when melees are missing cells for haste then minuet becomes more viable (assuming you are making use of the attack).

I recently finished leveling dnc and meritting haste samba though, so now we're doing two of that setup with a dedicated whm or rdm for each.
Is this in Einherjar? I know in say Dyna-Tav (leeches), or random Einherjar zone (bats, etc), having Misery+Esuna has really improved our kill speed since it came out, and this setup leaves your best DD party relying on Brd+Cor+Dnc to individually erase each DD (1:1) after each aoe debuff. Especially in the case of Attack Down from bats or leeches, which can come very fast, you could start running into issues of songs/rolls needing to be cast and erase at the same time (erase as brd/whm or cor/whm isn't the fastest casting spell in the world, it's certainly no Paralyna).

Curious how, if at all, that issue (lack of Misery+Esuna) in instances where it's really relevant, has affected you, or if the 3 support classes can incorporate an erase after each aoe move into their rotations.

This seems to me like one of the few situations where march min is viable.

Please provide your professional mathological insight. ^^
I don't got the math to back this up, but I switch to min/min on my mnks on that one gear nm in salvage that spams restoral. (sorry for the vagueness, can't seem to remember which zone). Kill speed improved greatly, due to the fewer restorals the gear would get off vs march/march. I imagine similar results with the frog, since there are more things affecting kill speed than just dmg/time.

Since there are only 3 DD in the party, and the BRD only needs to do marches, it would be easy for the DNC + BRD to cover the top 2 melee, and make the 3rd melee wait 5-8 seconds before they get erased/waltz'd. I can see it being helpful in many scenario's, but a problem in others~ Depends on your players and the situation.

Well, one thing you are assuming and are wrong about: COR's in our shell do not /WHM. We /WAR exclusively. It's all handled by the DNC and BRD.

Couldn't decide whether this question better fits here or the random question thread, but there is a "greater than" question, so this should fit the bill:

Royal Redingote: M.Acc. or Fast Cast

I have WHM and BLM (as well as BRD, which doesn't factor into the decision much), and am in the process of leveling RDM and will eventually duo SCH with a friend. MAB is a given.

I'm not in the position of having a Morri or Genie yet, so Redingote is the next best thing. I don't need the M.Acc. for it to do better damage, however, so how necessary is the M.Acc.? It's not an ideal piece for a 320/120 set anyway, so how much will the M.Acc. help on less resistant mobs? I can stick a Fast Cast body in every damn spell I cast on almost any mage job I level, but will I regret not having the M.Acc.?

Whether you'll benefit from the MAcc depends on what you use your BLM for. For the vast majority of things, if you're reasonably geared it'll probably be useless.

I got MAB/Fast Cast on my first one. It was pretty sweet for soloing/lowman NMs in sea. That extra 5% Fast Cast helped me get T4s off on Ix'Drk when I had hate. It's still possible without, but there's always a chance he'll activate BW and introduce your faec to raep.

For the time being I'll mostly be doing Dynamis and Einherjar and soloing (Limbus, Salvage if I can ever find five friends to consistently let me in, NMs, sea, etc). Don't care about exp. or anything of the sort. I'm open to suggestions in general though, since I haven't decided what I want to spend my time on since I left my HNMLS so long ago.

Fast Cast seems like the better choice, especially as a soloer or lowman(er), but damn near every thread I looked at with "BLM" and "Redingote" in them barely gave Fast Cast a passing mention. I couldn't really figure out the justification for so many people going with M.Acc. when Redingote isn't a good high-resist piece in the first place. Every little bit of accuracy helps, I guess, but BLM and SCH don't have another Fast Cast body piece in the game, and even WHM doesn't have a Fast Cast body short of Marduk (and hell, my Bard could make use of it a bit).

For a Curing Waltz macro, Genbu's Kabuto or Koenig Schaller?

    *edit*
Although thinking on, I'd be better off with Genbu's to use on more jobs

For Guillotine: Abyss Burgeonet (10ATK) or Wyvern Helm (5STR)?

Still need to finish AMK etc.

Also, -SIR or -Enemy Crit Rate merits?

Assuming "Perfect" WS build (Anwig Salade, BTathlum, Virtuous Belt, Usu Gear, etc). In Salvage zones (from floor 1 to boss) or misc low-man events (ENM, etc), what is better... Shura Togi + Usukane Gote or Usukane Haramaki + Melee Gloves (No B.Kote and Subtle Blow is nice) for Asuran Fists?

I don't really understand when ATK caps and when fSTR caps to evaluate it properly yet.

Err ... how to say it ... 2nd setup will win but it is not the best of all. Use either Shura+Okote or Osode+Okote.
All chariots beside AR require 410-415 acc to cap, "only". Then all pre-boss mobs don't require much to cap, probably less than 380. Assuming gorget give 10 acc, BT/MKD head/gorget/shura/rajas/usu feet&legs and full merits provide 55 acc and 11 dex give around 380 acc already.

For boss pizza is best. If not, well, you can use virtuso and torreador's I guess ... you should use hades sainti too so it fixes your acc issues. If you're a destroyers fanboy, get a lieutenant's sash and use pizza.

about 430. No extensive tests, but with the same gear that gives me 90%-95% ( meat) on a non arrap boss, I'd get 80-85%. That's taking focus and feints into account.
