For Guillotine: I've got a flame ring and a Rajas, but I also have two ruby rings augmented with 3mnd each. What's the best combo here for damage?
Mirke Wardecors (Str +5, Dex +5, Acc+10, Fast Cast +5) w/ Loq. Earring,
or
Magus Jubbah +1 (Str+5, Dex+5, Magic Skill +15) w/ Suppanomimi.
This is for spells like Disseverment, and Frenetic Rip.

For feet I would expect Ogre +1 to beat Rutter's.
For hands, Pallas is a good low-acc option (for most situations you'd be using DB I suspect?) for higher acc Wise gloves (and their +1) are a good option (not sure if more damage than morrigan/goliard or not), Devotee's +1 if you want more mind and no Acc. I don't know if they're more damage than pallas or not.
No mathologist but aqua ring might be better than flame? Get someone to check that out.
Ranger:
Currently using an Augment Bow: DMG:72 Delay:540 Str+4 Ratt+11 WSAcc+13. Needs 10STP for 6 Hit. Done with Rose Strap, Brutal Earring and Rajas, for 6 hit /war or /nin.
Have some more gil to spare now though, considering a Hellfire+1
Conbined delay is 880 so TP/hit should be 17.1, needs 17STP for 5 Hit. Eventually could do that Mekki(or rose+brutal) + rajas + skadi legs, untill then can /Sam. with 20 TP/hit, no TP from meditate would be wasted either.
I could also try and evolith the HF+1 for a decent WS: Ratt+ augment.
Basically, untill I get mekki+skadi, do you think HF+1 5 Hit /Sam or Augment bow 6 hit /War would be better?
I don't perticularly want to drop 1mil+ on it if it's not a lot better. Not like rng gets much action except Odin, and occasionally a few other things.
Honestly it comes down to your personal preference. High points of having 5 hit is obviously more damage over the same amount of time (assuming your acc isn't poo), /sam gives the added bonus of meditate and survivability options if you take hate. 6 hit /war is something you already have, and theoretically should do more damage on ws.
If you only use rng for odin/ixion, then maybe just spend the gil elsewhere on another upgrade until you get skadi/mekki.

I dunno if it was ever posted and unequivocally proven, but
1 STR: +.25 to base damage from mods and a chance of adding 1 to your base dmg from fSTR function.
3 MND: +.75 to base damage from mods
so at best +1.25 vs +0.75
and at worst +0.25 vs +0.75
Being unrealistically generous and assuming you'll get fSTR bonus 50% of the time then the two options are equal (disregarding +.5 ATK). However, since the chances of getting fSTR are going to be lower than that, +3 MND wins.

It's actually 5 MND vs 1 STR, Flame having -2 MND (same difference as Nfeet vs AF+1, but without the 2 Acc).
Depending on your STR, your MND and the mob's VIT, Flame Ring can give you :
- 1 BD (37.5% likelihood)
- 2 BD (50% likelihood)
- 3 BD (12.5% likelihood)
Unaugmented Ruby :
- 1 BD (~33% likelihood)
- 2 BD (~67% likelihood)
Ruby with MND+3 :
- 2 BD (~84% likelihood)
- 3 BD (~16% likelihood)
To answer Homerun : Rajas/Aug Ruby.
Flame Rings for DRK is stupid regardless. Triumph only.
But this with MND augmented Ruby seems pretty interesting I must say.
Flame is good if you're using Gswrd WS!
