Asuran fist: if you are not attack caped same order, but osode is better if you are attack-caped. basically you'll be attack caped during AF ( on level <83 mobs) if you have 500+ attack pre boost and pre-body ( even less if mob's dia'd).

Better MB piece?
Thunder 4 on a light SC. Assume for the sake of this argument that my M. Acc is capped. Looking for the max possible damage combo.
Do I use AF2 hands or Zenith Mitts?
Other gear:
Jupiter's/Thunder Grip/Phantom Talthum
AF2 Head/Ele torque/Novio/Moldy
Genie/???/Snow/Tamas
Ixion Cape/Witch Sash/Morrigan's/Yigit.
8/8 Ele merits
5/5 Int
Taru blm/rdm
Also consider the possibility I replace moldy with Static Earring and Morrigan's Pants with with Tatsumaki Sitagoromo augmented with MAB +4% and MB damage +10%
Basically, I'm trying to figure out if I should macro in AF2 hands/Apoc Nigh Earring/ASA Pants for MB instead of Zenith mitts, Moldy, and Morrigan's Pants.
I don't understand the math well enough to figure it out. Help!
War/nin question
Under capped acc what is better:
6-hit using Carbonara and this:

7-hit using Pizza or meat and this:

These are both AGG Up Tp sets, things would change with Agg/down. I would prefer /sam but we are required to sub nin at most ls events.
Anyway, which would be better assuming you have capped acc?
6-hit will probably server you better unless you're having Acc issues. I recommend getting Lyft Voulge and Aurum Cuirass for an easier 6-hit that can use Pizza.
Lyft Voulge/Rose Strap/Aurum/Ecphoria/Rajas/Brutal = 18 STP = 16.5TP/hit
You can WS in 10 STP (Rose + Rajas + Brutal) and maintain your 6-hit. = 15.4 TP + 2.2 for additional hits.
What are all the hidden effects on Lyft Voulge, or are they still unknown?
4 STR, possibly 48 TP Bonus, 4% DA, or something else. I've been trying to test, but I lack Aurum Cuirass, Fire Bomblet, and any neck item for WAR so I'm kinda SoL getting a group to test with.
0/8 on Fortitude, 2 chips from 2 more sets and I get to try again for a Torque.
Editted: not STP, TP bonus. SAM GKT has 4 STP, which indicates to me that it might give some job specific trait bonus where applicable. RNG x-bow has 40-50 TP bonus, with the author guessing 48 (12 per person past 2).
speaking of lyft weapons, any word on lyft scythe? haven't seen anyone post about it, aside from talking about the floodga casting flayer NM that drops it. anyone have? worth getting?
It's 528-delay so pretty much no. Not bad if you're forced on /nin or 5hitting though.
yeah the 528 was why i never looked hard at it to begin with. going to try to pick one up though, it can go in the golf cart with my other 528's.
For polearm TP, which is best of these three possibilities for someone with no rajas or byakko haidate... (yet)
1. 17% haste 6-hit with pole grip
2. 11% haste 5-hit with no pole grip
3. 8% haste 5-hit with pole grip
God I wish I had usu feet. It would make this so much easier.
Well I did the best I could and calculated the total delay for 100tp for each, looks like the 6 hit with haste might have an edge with hasso, double march, and haste, in other words proper merit party. But then again, I probably won't be fulltiming hasso, or I'll get my ass beat. The parenthesis indicate that those numbers could be lower if double attack from pole grip activated. I didn't understand how to factor that in.
Base

2. 2136

Hasso

Yeah, it's supposed to be TP bonus like Hagun. However, TP bonus has only been confirmed on the X-bow, and STP has only been confirmed on the GKT. It could be that SE's misguided sense of balance caused them to give all the weapons 48 TP bonus except the GKT because they feared that would be too overpowered, so they gave them 4 STP instead.
I've confirmed 4 STR on the Lyft GA, but haven't been able to get 5 people to come watch me kill level 0 mobs for half an hour to determine if there's a TP bonus, and my gear isn't good enough to merit with yet and not be ashamed of (aka, no good neck or ammo yet).
A friend has confirmed 4 STR on the Lyft Polearm (which makes it pretty competitive with/better than Thalassocrat).
Assuming 100% accuracy to simplify the comparison( you never miss ws, zanshin never happens etc..). I assume your 6 hits and 5 hits are "true".
1. Six hit build with 17% double attack: on average 4.38 rounds till 100TP; with 17% haste that's 4.38*480*(1-0.35-0.10-0.17)=13.34 seconds till 100TP.
2. Five hit build with 15% double attack: on average 3.59 hits till 100TP; with 11% haste that's 3.59*480*(1-0.35-0.10-0.11)/60=12.63 seconds till 100TP
3. Five hit build with 17% double attack: on average 3.54 hits till 100TP; with 8% haste that's 3.54*480*(1-0.35-0.10-0.08 )/60=13.31 seconds till 100TP
also, I have no idea how you find 11% and 8%? turban+swift belt+fumas=12%.
Static and Sorc Gloves both are a 5% increase in damage, due to the diminishing returns of MAB, 5% > 5 MAB, therefore if you are bursting Static + Sorc Glove > Zmitts + Moldy.
Your ASA pants are only just behind Morrigans in terms of pure damage outside of bursting, and add a further 10% while bursting, so easily beat Morrigans during burst.
The only problem is, if you miss the burst then the Sorc gloves + Static will be adding 0 to your damage and you will be effectively nuking in -10MAB. ASA legs are a little more forgiving of missing the burst, as you only lose ~1-2 INTs ‘worth’ of damage.
As for macc, the only place you lose macc is the legs. 10 INT is a lot to lose, but whether you can take the hit is situational
tl;dr
Yes Static + Sorc gloves + ASA is more damage for bursting
I read the question as:
"This is my Wyrm nuking build, I know my resist rate is fine atm, but should I swap MB gear in for more damage while bursting"
So if I read it correctly he probably needs AFv2 hat/grip/torque to get to the point where m.acc is capped.
Although it is a valid point about the sorc ring. If you are happy to sit at low HP sorc ring would do a lot for you. But you would need to consider the loss of 5 INT.
