Enmity issues in einherjar?

Either the single bats were messed up... or our hate in the zone was messed up. One of the 2. I dont count the boss cause with everyone using 2hr.

How many BRDs were there? If just one or two, they could have built up a sizable amount of hate by simply Lulluby'ing the mobs a shitton.

I will admit, it is odd that the melee or DD's weren't taking hate from these. Like Cream Soda said, SAM's should be poppin off 1k (more on pierce weak mobs) pentas, which would yank them right the fuck back around to melee dd's.

i'm obviously questioning him, and the post was about enmity, we had enmity issues on the manitcore boss... (it hitting WHMs who've done nearly nothing, when it's at 50% HP after about 30secs)

i'm the only puller & PLD in our shell and the only time I try to build hate anywhere higher than to cover sleepgas cast by BLM is if it's the last mob pre-boss. and in those cases i'm only getting around 300-500 atonements (if i even get a WS off)

The manticore has different enmity mechanics than normal mobs. That is why it was suggested that you look at the wiki to find out more information.

I would suggest that you do some research about Einherjar. It will probably help you out a lot.

We only entered with 17... Mostly mages. It was our first run. We didnt have much DD power, so the bats took a while to kill. (hence why we were capping hate)

We know we were capping hate cause atonements were holding at 750. It just seemed as though nobody in the zone had any hate decay.

I'm not sure if my co-tank was ws'ing every mob, but i was. 750 every time. Never varied. I hold my TP till i've gained enough VE... CE is harder to gauge by eye. I usually cap my CE after a ws or two.

You were capping damage on Atonement, that does not mean that you were capped on hate.

I could be wrong but I do not believe that Atonement caps at the same level that hate caps.

According to the formula on wiki (ce*23/256 at 100% tp), you only need around 4k ce. Plus he mentioned holding tp...

I would suggest that you do some research about Einherjar. It will probably help you out a lot.

i admit we didn't know about the tier 1 bosses, guessing no-one looked it up since they're easy regardless, other than that nothing really we can improve

Watch out for Morboro boss. If you see that one you are likely done with that few ppl.

Both Manticore and Buffalo will randomly lock hate on random people.

Typically they will choose the one who it is most inconvenient for everyone else, rushing off with +movement to kill a mule at the start of the zone while leaving everyone in their dust.

Frog acts similar to this as well.

Pretty sure frog just runs off into a random direction, it doesn't actually target anyone. Kinda like Vampyr's hounds.
