Question on importing FFXI Settings from old pc to new pc

Sorry if this doesn't belong in this section, wasn't sure where to post it so please feel free to move if it goes elsewhere.

I was wondering what folder the FFXI user settings save to, and what the name of the file might be. I looked around in my old FFXI folder after going to program files/playonline/square-enix and I didn't see anything that stood out as being the file where the data saves to. I'm looking to save time by importing the file that contains font colors for actions and speaking, and also my macros.

I also don't even know if it's possible to import over since those settings were on a 32 bit XP machine and I now have a 64 bit Windows7. I also had a question regarding my aspect ratio for in game, more of a poll type question.

I've always used 4:3, and my old monitor was a 16" but my new one is a 19". It says the monitor itself is a 4:3 aspect ratio but I was fooling around last night with aspect in game and not sure which would be the best for use. 4:3 looks fine, and I also like the 15:10 and 16:10 settings, as they are close to how 4:3 appears. Based on the specs below of my monitor, which would you guys use as your settings?

Display Type: TFT Active Matrix Flat Panel Display
    Screen Size: 19"
    Pixel Pitch: 0.294mm x 0.294mm

    Horizontal Frequency: 24-83 kHz

    Interface Type: VGA

    VGA
    Contrast Ratio: 800:1
    Brightness: 300 cd/m²
    Response Time: 5 ms
    Horizontal Viewing Angle: 160 degrees
    Vertical Viewing Angle: 160 degrees

    1280 x 1024 is a 1.25 aspect ratio.

    PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\USER\gibberishnumberletters

    Macroes: all files containing "mcr"
    (mcr.dat, mcr#.dat, mcr.sys, mcr.ttl, nmcr.dat, nmcr#.dat)
Since the macro books update some other weird files in here might be important, not sure.

    Map Markers: .MRK files

Dunno on font colors and magic/JA list order. Suppose you can just copy the whole folder.

Just to be safe, you should backup your macros to the server incase anything goes wrong.

    Also, Hey Sel!

What exactly does that mean for in terms of the options from XI that are given? Sorry, kinda noobish with technical stuff.

    But

At the char select screen, highlight your character and press:

    Shift + alt + control + B to save

    Shift + alt + control + R to restore

I've been good. Quit the game back in Nov 08, but still stick around here for some reason. Hope you're doing well.

That worked perfect, brought over macros and font colors. One last question, happen to know where it stored the original screen shots, from before windower was made? Have some old memories I'd like to bring over as well to this new pc, along with all my current windower made ss.

I forgot exactly where, but you can do a search in the POL folder with the first 3 letters of the character it was taken on. For example, search your POL folder for "sel".
