If we win, we are going to do it through the air and with pitch tosses to Felix because honestly, Barber is going to be a non-factor with a banged up knee and having to run at the williams wall. Last time Romo completely fucked it up for them was in week 2, remember, and we still nearly won even with a retarded Int off Wittens foot. Only thing I'm worried about is Sidney rice because we've been struggling with slot/3rd WRs and that is our main weakness.

I agree on all accounts. I was really hoping the Cards would pull it off, but I certainly wasn't expecting it.

Unless the Vikings o-line healed up well over the bye, I think they may get dominated by Ware and Spencer. Maybe they came up with something to help negate that. But, if it's anything like the Panthers game with Peppers in Favre's face almost every down...

The Vikings couldn't adjust to Peppers at all and the Cowboys will be bringing something stronger. Those matchups makes me cringe. That's definitely my biggest worry.

Who knows, maybe the crew in the dome will turn the fans on when Dallas has the ball.

No doubt they will and I know it'll be louder than the superdome was in the beginnig of December, but we still won there and (imo) without less preparation for crowd noise, they practiced all week with piped in crowd noise, but I don't think it was done to this extent when they played NO.

I meant 'turn the fans on' as a baseball reference. Teams were accusing the Twins of turning the outfield fans on full speed to push back deep hits. I could have worded it better.

My sister is dating a Cowboys fan. I told her she's out of the family if they win.

    That's a legitimate reason, right?

Winfield isn't average! But, yeah with the foot injury he's going to be exploitable. Odds are he isn't playing straight corner for most of the game though.

Imo, the biggest hole in the Vikings defense is the rookie Jasper Brinkley who is filling in for EJ Henderson.

Thats why QB's don't try to go after the ball when they get picked off.
First football game I've watched all the way through in years, mainly because I didn't have much choice but holy shit between this hit and bush running all over niggas I was quite pleased.

It was the controversial play that defined the 'Hail Mary.'

Much bitterness has been passed down the line.

Seriously, you show up for a playoff game and can't make it past halftime!!! Let a fan who will enjoy the game take the seat next time. I like to drink like a good amount of people, but come on man!

Fans like that are the ones that aggravate me.

There are so, so many holes in the Vikings pass defense.. Brinkley is one of many.. But in that 4-3, having the MLB be one is a massive issue. FS Madieu Williams is trash, as is SS Tyrell Johnson. At corner, Winfield won't fully heal until the offseason. We're not far removed from Devin Aromashodu running by him all game and him getting benched. Cedric Griffin is nothing great, and Benny Sapp is only a drop-off from that.

On the other side of the ball, DeMarcus Ware vs Bryant McKinnie, Anthony Spencer vs Phil Loadholt, and Jay Ratliff vs John Sullivan make up the most lopsided OL matchups of the playoffs.. Perhaps in a very, very long time.

I like this Vikings team.. I'd like them to win, but I have a hard time seeing it happen with so many critical mismatches.
