I've heard everyone say, analysts and even on these forums, that they can see the game going three ways. Vikings win close, Dallas wins close, or Dallas wins in a blowout. Noone could see the Vikings blowing out the cowboys? While I sure as hell didn't see this coming, is anyone really surprised?

I thought way too many people were picking the cowboys to win - although I certainly thought they would score more than 3 points. As someone who was at the playoff game last year, that place is so loud it's tough to fully function on offense in such an environment unless you take the crowd out early... Which Dallas didn't.

I think people are making way too big of a deal about these teams who dominated during the season and secured playoff births early on losing in basically meaningless games down the stretch. Sure home field and seeds are at stake, but most teams have one goal at the beginning of the season - to make the playoffs. I think when teams accomplish that goal they may let their foot off the gas somewhat until playoff time, then they kick it up a notch.

Now all I need is the jets to win to go 4-0 with predictions this week...
