Tyche why the fuck do you have Manning in your sig, so hilarious.
because Indianapolis is god's chariot and Peyton Manning is god.
I'd actually like to see Indi against either Jets or San Diego. Interesting games either way. Mostly I'd like to solidify the fact that the Jets never should have made the playoffs.
I was rooting for a Packers/Favre superbowl but now that that's off the table... I'll go with Jets/Nawlins
Packers would've only made the Superbowl with Favre.
I can hear Archi pounding those keys in a fit of rage already
Er, yeah, I'm an idiot, wasn't thinking. I just wanted to see that match-up so Favre could get embarassed![]()
Oh I see what you're saying. Favre Bowl III
edit: or not
As embarrassed as he got the first two times he played the packers?

I also said the year before. Without looking it up, go ahead and tell me. Oh yeah, you can't. But i'll bet you can name the past 5 super bowl champs. My point is having a great defense doesn't matter, winning the super bowl does, and the only reason you remember who had the number one defense last year was because THEY WON THE SUPERBOWL. Way to try and look smart yourself, but only further prove the point I was making, you'd make a great lawyer. Pro rebuttal, chap.
If you read the facts in my post, instead of taking one excerpt of text and ignoring the rest, I don't see how anyone can pick the Jets to win this game.
Hey, a guy can dream.
Anyway, my probably misguided analysis:
Cards v Saints: I can't see this being anything but an offensive explosion, two QBs who are great at finding hot routes off blitzes and two defenses who are anything but great. Saints have been poor down the stretch but playing at home and against that defense, I don't see how they don't outscore the Cards. Plus, the Saints have shown that they can run the ball effectively and control the clock if they need to. I don't think the Cards can do the same.
Cowboys v Vikings: As much as I hate to pick the Cowboys, I think their defense controls this game. The Vikings can't block Ratliff and Ware and Favre isn't mobile enough to deal with constant pressure. On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys O-line has been playing their asses off, and Romo has plenty of targets to pick off.
Ravens v Colts: Probably the easiest game to pick. If the Ravens can't stop Manning, they don't have a chance. Flacco isn't the type of QB who can control the game. Blast the Colts for resting players all you want, but they get a Ravens team on a short week and are well rested.
Jets v Chargers: Going for the upset special. The Charges are on a great roll but I think the Jets defense is really underrated. If Rhodes can cover Gates well at all, Rivers is going to have a hard time dealing with the Jets' blitz packages. There's no way this is going to be easy for the Jets, but I think it's more than possible. However, Sanchez is too green to take the game over. If the Jets fall behind by 2 scores I don't think it's possible that they can come back, barring freak turnovers.
Also I dunno how I missed it but Brian Cushing who grew up in my hometown and went to my school won Rookie defensive player of the year, woo!
