No, posted last page, if this was the cast of Hot Tub Time Machine with these effects, same plot, and the same terrible delivery it'd be the same damn thing. A couple of the jokes would even make more sense if it were guys saying it, and still no.

So why are you here? To tell everyone you hate a movie you haven't seen yet? My wife is taking my daughter to see this and they may or may not like it, but it's all about making memories anyways. Some people didn't enjoy the first ghostbusters either, but I loved it cause I saw it when i was a kid and saw it with my family. Fuck everyone's delicate nostalgia. What happened to just enjoying movies?

also i think it's pretty disingenuous to state this movie exists solely to further some political message, this isn't exactly Simone de Beauvoir or Mary Wollstonecraft feminist critique set to a busting of ghost's narrative. the movie exists to make money and entertain and it exists with the ladies because the original cast (read Murray) refused to make a another film. it's not like this movie took the place of Dan Aykroyd receiving a rimjob from a sexy ghost.

This is seriously the worst logic. We've seen 2 trailers. Second worst than the first. Who the fuck puts the worst material in the trailers on purpose? So we have either 2 scenarios here: the whole movie is as bad or worse than what we've seen, or these people haven't a clue what's actually funny. Neither scenario is a good sign.

And I'm with ya on "fuck the nostalgia". I love it when remakes (all the comic book movies included) change shit up. I have a good friend who hates it (nostalgia) and I get a good kick whenever somethin gets changed up. Nick Fury is black now? Cool. Tony Stark announces he's Iron Man at the end of his first movie? Great changeup. All female ghostbusters? Cool idea. Even a straight remake scene for scene like Nightmare on Elm Street I liked well enough.

I don't hate this for nostalgia, I hate it cause it's bad acting. Bad jokes. Movie turned propaganda. The scene-for-scene rehash makes it worse but isn't even close to the deal maker in this case.

You'd think spelling it out saying "if this was anyone else doing this same terrible delivery" you'd know I'm not against this for "nostalgia".

Being able to call out certain characters actions before a trailer, lolblackchickiknowdastreetz, kind of says a lot of the shitty direction the movie is going. But by all means, if we're going to pretend the trailers released so far indicate a decent movie than have at it. It's the ultimate goal of the SJW's missions lol.

i don't pretend trailers are especially indicative of a movie's quality in general, Batman vs Superman trailers had me hyped for that abortion and The Cabin in the Woods trailer made me think one of the funnest and most creative horror flicks of the last decade was going to be another stupid slasher.

i like most of the talent involved for this flick as am holding out hope, but if it sucks it sucks. the vitriol reserved for this film above other remakes does strike me as a unique result of the female recast, a response including but of course not limited to misogyny. as you say a lot of people are sick of a leftwing Hollywood agenda they see being rammed down their throats, and those people are free to vote Republican.

It's like the trailer for 5th Element that was made up of the entire 2 minutes of serious action from the whole movie. It's the Deadpool romantic movie billboard. Well, a trailer for a bad movie looking good means they put all the good stuff in it. Nothing strange about that. As natural as gravity.

A bad trailer for a good movie is quite the opposite. If you have a good movie, sit someone or a team down to make a trailer out of it, and come out with a bad trailer, that's pretty odd right?

Think of it like a recipe, if you have plenty of good ingredients it's easy to make something. Switch it around and it's not so easy.
