TBR's Clarifying Post of WTF - This can be added to the OP

We are currently located in Netzavare on Boreas. Right now, only Rokku, Pooky and I (Senerio) can do Corps invites, so send us a tell if you need to get in.

Controls:
WASD: Movement
ALT: Toggles between mouselook and mouse cursor. Mouselook for targetting, mouse cursor to click around in the interface.
Q and E: Sidestep. You're invincible when you sidestep.
C: Sit - Used to gather Crystals on battlefields. Also used to regain PW faster. On battlefields, do NOT rest at Crystals if you are low on HP. Use Regenerates.
Z or Mouse3: Brings up a menu for your target. You have the option to Trade, Party, add people to friends, etc. More on Build and Summons later.

U: Personal Status
K: Skills
Y: Macros
J: Emotes
L: Friends List
N: Chat Settings
M: Change minimap zoom
B: Black List
T: Fast Trade (needs target)
/: Search menu
Right CTRL: Swaps chat modes
0 (that's zero on your top numbers): Corps list

Chat interface:
Enter - Opens the chat window. Your chat will go to RNG by default. The following modes are available:

/f - Corps
/s - Say
/a - Army
/p - Party
/t <target> <message> (without angle brackets)

Home Town and Neutral Zones
At your home town, there are 4 kinds of shops - a tool shop with medicines and the like, then a shop for each of the 3 classes. On your map, there are 3 colors to indicate what vendor sells what.

Red - Warrior
Green - Scout
Blue - Sorcerer

Currency is divided as follows:
Gold - Drops off mobs
Rings - Gained from quests and KvK
A Notes - Bought with real money

You start with no gold, but can sell your XP scrolls for a good chunk of cash. However, you're better off doing the tutorials. Each quest nets you 10 rings and level 10 armor. The FEZ site has the details on all the tutorial quests, so I'm not going to go into detail.

Combat and Skills
Mouse 1: Attack
Mousewheel or # keys: selects the skill slot. Can also select this by selecting the skill in mouse cursor mode, but don't bother.

To assign and unlock skills, open the skill menu. On the left are skills, on the right are the costs needed and buttons to purchase them. Any skill you buy is permanent until you respec. To gain new skills, you need to raise the skills available to tier 3. To assign skills, double click on the icon.

What to Do As Soon As You Get In

1.) Find either me, Pooky or Rokku. We'll get you tagged in Banewatt (the capital city)
2.) Find the level 20 power leveler. Go to the Merchant Quarter, and at the bridge are a bunch of NPCs. You're looking for one named Jerry. Talk to him and he'll boost you to level 20. Go to your skills menu (K) and assign what skills you want.

3.) Run the tutorial. The NPC is in the military district.

4.) Once you're done with the tutorial, come kick some ass in KvK

Kingdom vs. Kingdom:
Objectives:
Kill people.
Kill structures.
Kill more people before they kill your structures.

Each side has a castle. Killing players and destroying structures causes damage to the castle. Knocking out structures have more effect on the battle than players. Running around like a mindless zerg is asking for trouble. Flank often.

To build structures and summon certain special units, you need the currency known as Crystal. To gather crystal, rest at a crystal and you will slowly gain it. You will also gain crystal from killing players. You can gather up to 20 crystal before you have to start killing enemies to get more. You can also trade crystals to other players for rushing purposes.

Building Costs:

Obelisk (15 Crystals) - These acts as control zones. You expand your control of the territory (and thereby damaging your opponent's castle) by taking control of areas. You can then build additional buildings in controlled zones. These are your most important structures.
Tower (18 Crystals) - Shoots death at your targets
Gates of Hades (20 Crystals)
Warcraft (20 Crystals)

To build something, open your target menu (Z or Mouse3) and go to the Build option. You'll be given a list of buildings, what they do, and their costs. Select one, and then you can place the building.

Gates of Hades, Warcraft and Summoning:

In order to assist in the battle, you can summon 5 different unit types and play as them. Each has their own strength and weakness.

Knight - Summoned from Castle - 30 Crystals
Strong against enemy summons

Giants - Summoned from Warcraft - 30 Crystals
AOE attack, strong against buildings, slow as hell

Wraith - Summoned from Gates of Hades - 50 Crystals
Anti-player summon. Can rape face. 1st attack is a 180 degree cone attack, 2nd attack is a ranged attack. 3rd attack blinds anyone in range, but consumes PW.

Chimeria - Summoned from Castle - 50 Crystals - Requires Chimeria Blood in inventory
Has a claw attack and elemental breaths. Also has a kamikaze attack that can almost, if not one shot, a castle. Priority target if it's up.

Dragon - Summoned upon death - Requires Dragon Soul in inventory, kingdom must be losing
Only has one attack, but can fly around the entire zone. Attack is AOE and mows down enemy players. Rape face.

I'll add to this as more details come up or are pointed out.

I managed to lock-on an NPC in town messing around but can't find what key did it. Has anyone figured out a way to use Sorcerer in PvP with all the jumping? Works fine against mobs, though.

Game's fun until you're the only one on your side and the 37 other guys just spawn camp you. I got an award for over 50 deaths!

Sorc in PvP: Lead like crazy, pray you hit. Ice 3 is decent for getting people off of you. I spam Lightning 1 and 3 at groups trying to lead as best i can, but its rough.

You can damage people in jump with lightning spells, its just really hard.

This may come off as a little bitchy, but it needs to be thrown out there:

If you're going to be rolling a new character, do not roll a mage. Roll a 2H Warrior or a dagger Rogue and be done with it.

Mage is a completely underpowered class for what it has to go through at the moment. Right now most battles are sitting at a 250-350 ping. Because this game does not have any sort of aiming help (like say BFBC2), you have to heavily lead your targets. With the retarded jumpspasm this game is, you're only going to connect if you're using your biggest AOE damage attack. And that's if you're lucky enough have one, and said jumpspasms are not occuring.

Even then, you're going to be doing about 100 damage, tops.

Warriors? They'll eat you alive for 150-500 a hit with a jump attack that almost exceeds your attack radius. On top of that, the jump attack? AOE. Rogues? You're fodder for them. I've had a single Rogue do 600 damage in a single attack.

Right now, Netzavare is getting crushed, which makes this even worse.

Mages suck.
