I have a tech question that I cant figure out, I have a PS3 rigged to a HD moniter using a HDMI out cable connected to a DVI->HDMI converter to connect the PS to the moniter, usually I have used this setup for months without any problems, but today all the sudden it refuses to play in 720p and downscales to 480p and when i try to change it back, the screen just shows static mixed with a bit of the PS screen. I am using a LG widescreen LCD monitor and can get model names for everything if that makes a difference. I have tried resetting the PS3 to default settings multiple times with no avail, I really cant play ps3 with terribad resolution
