Reccommendation, please: 2 player co-op PC game

Alright, me an a friend are looking for a co-op PC game to play. Low system requirements are a plus; we talked about Borderlands but his comp probably can't run it well.

Something along the lines of Diablo II would be cool (and if we can't find anything else, that's probably what it will be).

    Any suggestions?

Maybe Phantasy Star Online - Blue Burst on the private servers?

what kind of game is Sacred?

Also, I found my copy of Lionheart and it says it has up to 4 player co-op. Anyone have experience with that? I remember the single player was kind of interesting.

sacred 2 is a diablo clone, lots of fun but a little rough on the system, might be able to run it ok though
serious sam is co-op and will run fine on his system but its an FPS and you can beat it in a day easy

What he said, but I meant Sacred not Sacred 2, first one is more lite.

Dungeon Siege 1 if you don't mind the dated visuals.

System Shock 2, Gears of War (super fun), Neverwinter Nights II...all have reasonable system requirements.

From some of the older ones, Alien Breed is extremely fun.

EDIT: And I believe Resi 5 on PC also has a co-op, but I am not sure about the system requirements or how it'd work on your comp.

this, it also doesnt require a disk if I recall and is super cheap, I bet the second one runs just as well

Try Titan Quest if you're looking for a solid Diablo II clone. Graphics wise it should be a lot lower than Sacred 2 and I recommend it over the first Sacred at the very least (never tried the second one.)

The PC version is pretty well optimized, it certainly runs much better than Borderlands. If you've played RE4 it's mostly more of the same. Co-op is pretty fun for a playthrough or two.

yeah my friend is playing some Titan Quest lately, so that's definitely an option.

I'll look into Sacred and see if that seems worth playing over TQ or D2.

Though I do love the game and need more people playing it (I can count the number of people who have even played this game on one hand and I want to play it online dammit), it's not a very well optimised game AT ALL. If you only have the requirements listed on the case then it's not going to work that well even on minimum graphics
