Not as bad as Resident Evil 2, but the animation is cash. When I first saw this "hidden" on GGXX, I really thought it was a movie and was looking for it for like 2 years. I though Kojima was the best at trolling gamers.

Trailer wasn't as bad as I thought. At least they're keeping it true to the game by having a tournament. But really why do videogame companies keep whoreing out their franchises for quick cash? With alittle bit of effort these movies could be as big as the comic book ones are now. You already have developed characters, back story and a fanbase.. how hard is it to hire a decent script writer and spend money on a real director/actors

Well, for a fighting game like Tekken it kinda makes sense to hire martial arts proficient actors over actors that would need to be taught each fighting style, which this movie seems to be doing. Though I do agree with you overall.

UK gets a direct BR/DVD release in September.

this was a terrible, terrible movie. Wasn't even worth watching for the lulz
so many things wrong with it. Even if it wasn't tekken related, the continuity errors/plot holes and random character interactions were all just so bad.
