I have always been struggling with really bad lag in the SW bc areas, for no apparent reason.

Now, today this happens:

We claim SW in Meri Mountains, near Tahrongi zone. Do our stuff, bring it down to 20ish % and it Doomvoids.

So I see straight away it's not HQ. I'm used to it taking a few seconds before the others start loading on my screen, but after 20 seconds or so I still don't see anyone, and then I realize I can't target anyone else either.

Turns out everybody in the alliance was experiencing the same thing. As far as they could tell, they were the only ones in the zone, couldn't see or target anybody else in the alliance. Serket wasn't there either. It took well over 1 minute with a lot of "wtf" and "I'm alone here", and then suddenly we all load on each other's screens, and Serket too.

These SW bc areas are just so broken. Anybody else experienced similar stuff?

Didn´t DV us yesterday once again. Was a KA area I´ve been told because I haven´t been there for it. Again multiple tries with letting it regen to full and trying again. Nothing worked. Had to kill it.

We had one in SC not DV; did everything over the course of an hour including letting it regen to 100% three times and spamming T1 / K Clubs on it sub 25%. Ended up letting it despawn and repop in another zone where it DVed normally. Sometimes...it's just glitched.

My old ls had an issue once where everyone but one member was sent to fight Lambton and one member was sent to his own instance of the zone to fight a different KA.

The zones never merged though and he ended up wiping and having to wait for us to finish up and raise him.

Only happened once though.

on fairy it usually starts off with SW not DVing, but sometimes its doing that for a few consecutive days, sometimes it skips a day, but usually it goes back to normal after a few days, which is actually different here, as IF it breaks, i think its usually behaving stupid for more than just 1 day, but im not 100% certain on that one

also, im bad with time periods, but i think we have problems like that only once in 3 month maybe?


and regarding the kings goin up to day 20 thing:
there was a period on fairy(maybe sometime in 2007?) were nidhogg would not pop before something stupid like day 10-14, on a regular basis(dont know exactly, but id guess was a few months) and since that period, im not exactly sure, but i dont think weve seen many day10s since then, if even any at all

doesnt sound so random to me, unless its just a really big coincidence

Yeah I have been in linkshells/heard about this happening, been lucky and never had it happen to me. Competing ls back on Alex had their tanks @ HQ worm and the rest @ NQ mob (can't remember which one) - now that's some bad luck right there lol.

But what you describe is what I first thought had happened. But we were all in the same zone, it just took well over 1 minute for all of us to load/be targetable for each other. Including Serket lol.

I think SE fixed the glitch where alliance could get split up like that @ DV though, at least I haven't heard of it happening in a long time.
