The FFA gametype is the worst fucking type to use as a demo.

See, I had the opposite effect, marine+Radar and I went 24/2. I only played the PC demo for a little bit and I loved the marines ironically. It's either overpowered to an extreme or I'm just good, but I can't tell for the life of me. Predator is fucking stupid, or something. Either cloaking is a power you find or mapped to a key I don't have on my keyboard. Wasn't given alien in my 5 rounds, so I can't comment on that.

The old AVP game was hilarious at lan parties though. We'd always play at 2-3 in the morning with no lights on. I had a good friend who scared easily, we'd usually stick him on marine and find the darkest maps possible for me to play alien. Hearing him scream was so fucking funny,

Marine is the most "normal" to play, so it's easy to do good without any real practise. Both Alien and Predator requires some getting used to, and are very good once you get it down. In the demo your average player will just rush you hoping to get a kill. I forsee Alien falling behind a bit when people start working together, no amount of wall-climbing will get you close to a team a Marines who know what they're doing.

You start with the ability to cloak, the default button is R. You could try mapping it to something else if that doesn't work, I guess.

And you can change your race in the lobby before the game starts, but it caps at 2 Predators/4 Aliens/4 Marines, so you can't have 8 people playing Alien.

Man I really liked this demo, anything but CoD2 at this point for me. But yeah the marine is waaaay over powered went 19/2 still fun thou. Being the alien is bad ass when you can fatality them.

Yeah, marine is easy to rack up kills with, but it's too regular.

I'm having the most fun with Predator, setting traps and blowing people up. The disc is way too good, though. Can't wait for the full game, Predator Hunt and Infestation are going to be great.

I couldn't get into the demo at all really. I loved the old AVP games, but I think i'm going to wait a bit to see how single player and the other mp games turn out.

I still don't think this game is a buy thou, I wouldn't pay 60 bucks for it 30 tops. It got ass raped in every review with a average score of like a 5.5 lol ima pass. Least the demo was fun till I got Bio Shock 2

Only ones I've seen are Game Informer who gave it 5.75, and IGN who gave it 8.5. Links to some others?

Picked up at 10am today. Almost done installing. Will play it for awhile then post on what I like about it. Predator will be the first one played

Playing as a marine and it's pretty fun. Only thing I don't like is the auto-aim, feels more hindering than helpful.
