Honestly I never understood why Jack didnt just call up the president if they trusted him with their lives as the palmers and this one do, and just ask for carte blanche after the first time random douchenozzle at CTU doesnt listen.

Maybe an Agent Walker spoiler, marked it just in case anyone didnt watch it tonight.
Spoiler: show
Also lol'ed at the "I hate this place" comment from Jack.
It's something to always expect every season: A mole inside CTU/FBI or an insider close to whoever is being targeted for assasination. At least they are doing it right from the start instead of waiting till almost midway thru the series show the insider/mole.Originally Posted by ZarakiKujata
It's perfectly logical. CTU was disbanded a few years back and Chloe was a stay at home mother. She may have been good with old CTU technology but this is a newer high tech CTU and she has to play a good deal of catch-up with the current technology. She's barely been there a month and in real world terms, that isn't a lot of time to catch up if you aren't used to using the same technology that you used to use. Also, her personality keeps her from asking for help which slows down her learning process.
wow, i know the last few seasons sucked but
i missed you jack bauer >..<
I watched the episodes twice each and didnt see Agent Walker >.> am I missing something? lol was it in a preview for ep3? I found the Chloe thing being slightly amusing, how Starbuck was talking to her like a little kid lol.
some of the CTU chars seem kinda lame. The shift from satellites to drones is pretty interesting. Also, I think it's fine that they're reusing plotlines for the beginning as long as they bring new stuff to the table at least. Like others said though, there's only so many different stories and variations they can come up with. For the last season, they'll probably just rip MW2
New lead of CTU is pretty formidable
meh

I can see where you're coming from, but it all depends on the huge time gap between seasons. Judging from Terries age it's been about 2-3 years after Day 7. Also, the new CTU looks like something out of Star Trek; white rooms, sliding doors, a hologram computer screen on the glass wall in the directors office. I couldn't help but awe when they showed a wide shot of the whole place.
Edit: Spelling
There is nothing to explain though. At the end of last season, the final like 10 minutes or so, Kim went to see Jack and thought he was dead. She asked the doctor if she was too late, but the doctor responded that they had put Jack in a coma so he doesn't have to suffer. Then Kim asked the doctor if it was too late to do the surgery to attempt to treat Jack and she said that it wasn't too late. Then Kim told her to prep for the surgery and since Jack was in a coma that it was her decision whether to do it or not.
Poor Jack.
Oh wow, that hour was awesome.
Holy shit, they better not kill jack jr. He and freckles are the best things to happen to this show in a long time.
This fucking CTU head needs to be killed asap, but they better not do it in a way that he can redeem himself and die a hero.
oh God I would love her forever. Also would've loved her forever if she told him to fuck off and saved Jack's ass.
