    Unless I missed it, when they show the guy on the floor it looks like he still has a good portion of his hand, and the part they cut off didnt look big enough to be a whole hand. Maybe thumb and pointer finger or something?

    Yeah, I definitely remember seeing his hand still attached. She would probably have killed him if he cut his entire hand off, or at least putting him into severe shock to be utterly useless. The thumb would be much easier to cut in the amount of time, and much easier to keep him alive.

    It was definitely just his thumb. He still had four fingers on the hand.

    Two things worth pointing out. First, the black CTU head walks around with the worst posture I've ever seen. His head is always stooped like he is walking through an invisible door. I can't stand it anymore. His also never swings his arms (aka Raquel Welch in Seinfeld). For some reason it pisses me off. He was also Bubba from Forrest Gump.

    Second, Mike Farmer (aka Dazro) sounds EXACTLY like Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. My roommate came upon this epiphany and we rewatched the first hour and it is spot on. Just close your eyes and you'll see it. Also, imagine his saying "... to poop on!" after every line. I'm glad he died so I can stop laughing at every scene he is in.

    Simple, Arlo the Drone tech guy is on the Russian's payroll. He disabled the anti-missile tech so the helicopter was blown up. He also discovered Dana's secret identity and fed the information to her ex so the ex would show up and cause distraction to Dana allowing him(Arlo) to aid the bad guys.

    This reminded me, when wifebeater was on the phone with her at her house, he said one word with a russian accent. Dundundun. I forget what that word was.. but pretty sure he ended the word with 'ink' instead of 'ing' as russians speaking english tend to do.

    I'm going ecstatic over the cast this season. The Russian seller's partner/assistant is David Anders, I've loved seeing him since his role on Alias.

    Question... Renee was undercover 6 years ago right? Which would make it before season 7. Wasn't she supposed to be like...a by the book FBI agent at the time? Not really complaining since I'm loving Renee right now, just curious if I missed something.

    I don't think she did anything off the books in her previous undercover work, just like how Jack did by the books undercover stuff for when they had to slip him back with his undercover chums in Day 2

    Since it's only tuesday, I'll spoiler it for now:

    - Definitely facepalmed at the mole plot yet again... how many seasons is that in a row now?
    - I was watching episode 4 with my girlfriend and when Renee went into that Russian's store and said she was going to take off the parole bracelet, I was like "she'll take his entire arm off, watch" and my girlfriend said "no!! that's too gross! all she needs to do is cut through the bracelet!"... lol. I called it because I remember the season finale of season 3 where Jack had to cut Chase's arm off to put the chemical bomb in that fridge in the school. Intentional or not, they definitely drew parallels between Jack and Renee there.
    - I agree with the posture of Hastings... man they need to give him a walking coach or something. Also, does anyone see a pretty strong resemblance to David Palmer?
    - Dana was badass in Bionic Woman, now she's just dumb. Giving your key to Kevin? Eh...


    That being said, can't wait for episode 5... really enjoying season 8 so far!
