This season sucks so far and I find it extremely boring outside of a few action scenes thus far. The whole Dana thing imo is just to promote Chloe to a higher position. Renee is the only thing holding it together right now and how many fucking times do i gotta hear Brian Hastings say his name? it's pretty bad.

I find myself getting bored in these episodes where as in seasons past I couldn't wait for the show to come off commerical or counted the down the days until the next episode came on. This show needs to pick it up and I mean fast if it's gonna keep my intrest.

Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That's about it.

lol if you guys ever saw the movie Heat, hastings played a role in that as a detective and he was doing the same fucking posture then and still the same now. That movie was back in 1995.

As for the season, it's been recycled storylines so far blah blah president in danger to nuclear threat. However the first 10 or so episodes have always been nothing but fillers to the real upcoming issue that'll be brought out later in the season. Dana's sidestory is nothing short of annoying to watch, glad I download the episodes to see them so that I can skip the bullshit.

Day 9: Renee Upgrades to a Chainsaw

in the past seasons, something usually happens at the beginning that gets me hooked to close to the end like

jack/tony escaping from fbi,
everyone dying/jack sneaking in presidant palmers house
jack rescuing the secretary of state by himself etc

so far this season theres been nothing..not even something coming up that is even close to being interesting

gonna give it maybe 2 more weeks before i give up D:

The idea of Renee being an absolute bad ass had me hooked since before it even aired.

The ex-bf asked Dana for money if I recall correctly. He wanted her to use her connections in CTU to get some money. At least 6 figures.

I don't know how she's going to get money from CTU though.

I think the whole Dana storyline is just dumb - she works for CTU and yet she's afraid of some idiot ex-con? Even if she is a "accessory to murder", how the hell did she get her job at CTU... don't you think a name change would have shown up on a background check with a covert government organization? They can find information on random terrorists in seconds and I'm sure they would have been aware of a name change before they hired her...

Not to go all emo, but this show used to be great. Seasons 1 and 2 were awesome and the dynamic between Jack Bauer and David Palmer was superb. Sure there were some plot flaws back then, but not as many. Now however it's basically TV where I have to turn my brain off before watching it... 24 should just call it a day.

One possibility about her getting into CTU is that this Accessory to Murder thing happened and she was convicted as a Juvenile. Most states seal records for Juvenile offenses.

So maybe that's how she passed the background test.

I'm willing to bet a lot of you were "wtf President Logan sucks, wtf 24," and I'm sure most of you were right back on the bandwagon when he switched it up(I'm also sure some of you didn't like that, fair enough).

Please do not make sweeping season indictments based on 5 episodes. granite, it's not the strongest story, but you act like they already explained it...this has the opportunity to be great troll or greatest troll status, precisely because of the reaction it's getting.

Now if 3 months later, it still sucks, then hell, my bad, and feel free to go off on them on every board and e-mail address you find.

She isn't going to get money through CTU. The ex-bf knows that CTU has their eyes and ears fixed on financial institutions and the stock market. Basically with that info, he is looking for her to come up with either a scam or some form of insider trading to get a big pay off.

But yeah, I agree with the angle being rather dumb at this point. Unless this ex-bf has some kind of major connections or knowledge of something bigger, it just seems to have no place. The fiance could probably kill him and cover it up completely with CTU connections easier than trying to run some kind of scam.

I hated him as a character in S5 but when they brought him back in S6 I did not hate him his seeking forgiveness raised the kind of ethical dillemma that I love about 24.

yeah dana walsh storyline is pretty stupid. it's been rather stupid and predictable all season so far anyway, so if it doesn't get better i bet they won't renew.

one thing: i'm almost positive that the guy who plays kevin played in near the exact same role/situation on a TNT cop drama, dark blue. guy comes back from troubled girl's past, begins to harass her and go into full creep mode, etc. lol.
