That's not surprising. Shit they got the bald guy from Wire punking Jack and the light skinndeded(I don't think he's white) dude from The Shield. His role wasn't exactly the same, but going from cop/commisioner to informant isn't the biggest stretch for an actor. Shit works like a fraternity, you play one type of role they will try to cast you that way fo lyfe.

yeah dana walsh storyline is pretty stupid. it's been rather stupid and predictable all season so far anyway, so if it doesn't get better i bet they won't renew.

When Renee 'went dark' I was half hoping that jack would just say eff it and show up, kill everyone but the main dude then make him talk. But that would be a bit too unrealistic. Or would it? Jacks done it before. lol

All I have to say is what the fuck then. As probably one of the few people on this board who have actually shot a sniper rifle (grew up in the sticks in MN where everyone has guns) it is difficult enough to have the physical and mental dexterity to shoot ONE stationary target from his distance, let alone THREE moving targets all in rapid succession. Not to mention your accuracy is going to be decreased with a semi-automatic sniper in comparison to a bolt action due to the recoil, but that's honestly trivial given how obscene the circumstance was.

That seriously is completely unrealistic - it would be very difficult for a professional marksman with years of experience to do this let alone some lackey kid who works in the field at some random CTU division.

I'm trying really hard to turn my brain off and just enjoy the show but with stuff like this happening it's difficult.

I'm actually happy with the pace of this season. Last season had major plot shifts about every second episode, and while it had a lot of action, it just left the plot convoluted. Much of what 24 (well, in the first few seasons anyways) used to be to me was trying to figure out what was going on, instead of shooting up the entire place.

hmm, i can't say that i agree with the people who like how the show is going at the moment but everyone has their own tastes. if you ranked each season of 24 i don't think i could find one person whose list would be the same as mine, lol.

the problem for me is that almost everything that's occurred has been woefully predictable. whether it's happened in a previous 24 or in any other tv drama, i've pretty much seen it and it's kinda like, oh yeah about time that happened. so far the only thing that was really awesome and exciting and that i didn't expect was renee getting that bracelet off the guy's wrist.
