Secondly i have killed Bune 100 times, if you dont get hit at all, only time he will WS is @ 25% when his WS requires only 100TP. You would be an idiot soloer if you cant predict when he is going to WS. Only WS that could potentially take you down is Paralyze, however Barparalyze+Top notch Enhancing set makes your paralyze wear after max 5 paralyzes.

Regarding what this guy said about bune is true, although i didn't kill 100 of it like him but i soloed it about 8 times straight tanking ( yes i know i can bind and stand away). With max bio3's timer/poison and constant nuking, it will ONLY WS once before it died at around 20-30~% (depending if your nukes resist and not taking hit). Can't say much about the barpara's method he mentioned, i bring remedy. Bune isn't hard is all i can say but the random pop within 3hrs is lame.

The way you expect big bomb to just tank it's self while you're using 50million items, swapping them out of satchel, and curing yourself for 9003hp with 24 mp.

I said you were wrong about DANCER not /DNC. Learn to read. DNC can't touch NIN's eva, has less subtle blow, less shadows, less haste? (idk what DNC gets hastewise), less -PDT, and I dunno how much -MDT DNC has access too.

You don't need to recover any MP with full -MDT; you may not even need to cure, though you'll end up with your back turned to BB and missing 1244 of your 1400'ish HP (if on carbonara).

um, no idea what you're trying to say... you dont need to cure yourself because you're taking 40% less dmg from an aga3?

Starting with 145 MP and a fresh DS, you'd be able to cast Cure III four times for ~1050 HP, recovering a total of 1125 HP in 45 seconds without use of meds.

Fantastic, now it's casting Aga3 again and you have 0mp. what are you going to do? drop 50meds on it?
You might aswell just go /thf for evasion bonus2 and keep yourself alive on HiPotions.

Clearly more of a personal issue if you can't stuff rare/ex into 230 spaces (storage, bank, and locker), with non rare/ex on mules or dbox.

I have 6 lv 75 jobs, all of which are geared and have quite a lot of situational equipment. I physically cant empty my satchel for 70-80 meds.

On the subject of meds, Excessive use of them isnt exactly a true solo. Yag drink/regen and maybe 1 or 2 hp or mp meds for an emergancy.

Otherwise you could just go with full evasion equipment only and have the rest of your invo/satchel full of hi potions

THF/NIN and RDM/WHM, duo'd probably over 50 times (with three different THFs) and had my THF killed maybe 2-3 times total. It's not hard. Either you absolutely suck at NIN, or your RDM has terrible gear/merits/attention span. I'm going to guess the former seeing as Elegy should absolutely ensure a piss-easy fight so long as your RDM isn't dead at his keyboard.

I have 12, exactly twice yours, all geared better. I can still make space for ~40 meds in satchel without any gear on mules(and don't tell me you can't afford a $1 mule, if it's that big a deal you shouldn't be playing to begin with).

2 meds are okay, but not 3? 3, but not 4? You can't draw a line anywhere specific, solo is solo. Next, you'll be outlawing expensive food.

To clarify, I meant excessive hp recovery meds. echo drops/eye drops and the likes are a standard part of playing.

If I muled everything, I'd probably be able to make space, but I 1) can't be assed to mule 40 pieces of gear 2) dont want to buy 40+ meds 3) dont want to rely on the crutch of a huge invo of meds.

Sure you can use loads of potions, but it's hardly a sustainable situation. It's a clear indicator that you're doing it wrong.
