I do know this happens to some women, so lemme rephrase that. She should be using some form of her own contraception as well. If the pill makes her cranky there's always IUDs/shots/etc. that she can use instead.

pills, condoms, etc. are all free from planned parenthood, which are all over the country. (they are funded by the state, so you can make donations, but you don't have to). They're the ones that usually have protesters on the news because they also do abortions.

You might wanna take the time to find the one nearest you and go and maybe get some condoms so you get your name in their records. (And so you can call for refills to go pick up when you're low).

They give out condoms by the bucketload, birthcontrol (although you may have to pay a small amount), lube, dental dams (who the fuck uses these?) among other things.

If you don't know where one is near you, you should really find out.

I think it depends on the state, and ya it's based on your income. But if you're not married they don't count your gf/bf's income. I get the pills/condoms for free, cause my fiance's the bread maker lolol.

This. 3 different offices, and 2 of them wouldn't even make an appointment for her knowing she was wanting shots/rings without having a kid. I have no earthly idea why.

But, looking at the PP website there's plenty of them in NC. It may be a bit of a drive, but if anything you should have her call a center to see what they say. I don't think they ever reject anyone who wants contraception unless there's some sort of health risk involved.

This is going to come out sarcastic, and I honestly don't mean it as such, but HOLY SHIT the most obvious answer, and I completely overlooked it lol. In all honesty, this is probably it. I would really like to get her on something besides the pill though, for sure. Not looking for any baby momma drama till I know for a fact that the little shit can have some diapers, formula, etc etc without me having to worry about it financially.
