Slightly off topic post, was thinking about picking up a stick, but all the ones I see have that ball/knob thing for the stick, not the well uh... more elongated handle. Anyone know where to pick one up and if there are any PS3/360 compatible ones? Or Wii compatabile too.

you'd have to install it yourself as basically everything comes stock with a ball-top, but it is possible to get a bat-top that will fit. that's the case with the higher-end sticks anyway (madcatz TE, or the high-end hori stuff) but i'm not too sure about anything else. as long as the one you buy has a sanwa/seimetsu joystick, it should be doable.

as for cross-platform, there's only one retail stick i can think of that fits the bill, which is this:

Amazon: Xbox360/PS3/PC Arcade Pro

Everything I've read indicates the joystick/buttons are pretty bad, I guess the real attraction is an out-of-the-box multiplatform PCB, if you're into the idea of building your own stick.

for what it's worth, i just bought the hori real arcade pro 3-sa for PS3 a couple weeks ago. it's a bit pricey but a damn fine stick.

There's seriously no place that just sells a normal, out of the box stick, with a bat-top? I kind of avidly hate modding if I have to do it myself, because luck dictates I will annihilate the thing. I remember seeing a custom stick site, but I also remember prices being like 150-200$ :/ Maybe i'll look at the gamepads >_> I'm not hardcore or anything about fighters, but the 360 or PS3 controllers make them retardedly difficult to combo properly on.
