my bison is too gimmick happy. i rely on corner pressure, and crossup psychos too much lol. i should apply more pokes and keep proper spacing, but im constantly dashing in with mixups and techs instead of playing solid lol. he's just too fun to use and i consider him one of the more annoying characters to fight

if you land a throw, you should slide right away because youll automatically be in safe distance, even for an ex wakeup punish, and you will hold your charge for the psycho crusher making to cross up on them. just unload on it asap lol so that even if they DO block it, you'll be able to escape punish (at least from most of the cast. i've not been hit with anything big before on a successful block). it looks like you're going easy on some of the fights

Yeah my Bison is really raw, I've only been playing him for like three days. I still have no idea on the timings for things like cross up Psycho Crushers or any safe jumps. I never thought about using the slide of keep charge after a throw though, thanks. This is really the first charge character I've played so I'm still adjusting to that, you may have noticed a lot of random jump backs and weird whiffed normals.

Thanks, I think he fits my play style a lot more than Yang but at the same time was a fairly easy transition as their combo structure is largely the same. Now if only I could stop getting a teleport every time I try to Ultra lol.

instead of pressing forward and kick, you can press upforward and kick lol. itll still register the same, kind of like linking balrogs headbutt to ultra except opposite

Yeah it's kinda just a last-ditch thing when I have ultra meter but am almost dead/have no EX meter to set up the EX tatsu link. I've actually tricked several people with the anti-air U2 at the least, making them think I'm throwing a normal one at them so they end up jumping right into it, though that doesn't work against someone like Cammy or Yun who has a move to slide through projectiles, since they don't jump as a reaction

It didn't seem so bad yesterday vs. Deejay but I have a large problem with having my throws come out(and by extension, my throw escapes). I'm trying to do it authentically but I might have to hotkey it to one of my two spare buttons, you can see a ton of oddly-timed light standalone jabs/kicks in close in my fights, that's generally my throws not coming out lol. The other major input issue I'm having is a lot of times a random up is being thrown into my double-qc's and backdashes, sometimes it's a diagonal, which I can understand me going to fast and kinda TK'ing it, but sometimes it literally goes down, down-forward, up, forward, and I have no fucking clue where the up is coming from, inputting the same motions into BB at the same speed does not appear to do it. Not sure if it's just recoil from me letting the stick get back into the resting position or what.

Good news is I'm getting better, but this game is still frustrating as fuck, lol. I think BB is a more complex, technical game but SF definitely requires much better dexterity and timing for execution. I still can't even do any of Sakura's basic bnb's and am just getting by with trying to time my specials well to punish and at the very least executing the EX tatsu setup for Ultra 2 since it's a relatively easy combo for big damage.

I can't really stream and play at the same time until I get a 2nd card and/or a component cable splitter, unless you know something that can stream and still have a nice fullscreen preview screen with no lag/full audio. FME(what I currently use to stream to jtv) has a shitty preview function and can't read my card's HDMI input for whatever reason, only the component(have the same problem with virtualdub).

I have a second computer that might be able to handle it, q6600, 8g ram etc, Id just need to run the xbox through the computer and use the TV as output
