Have you been playing at the Arcade? If so that's the reason why. The playstation version of the game just feels shitty all around. The graphics look inferior too. I don't own an Xbox but after playing the Xbox version regularly and owning the PC version, the Playstation version of the game just doesn't feel right anymore.

gotta learn how to buffer during your normals. Helps alot with canceling normals into specials.

I like playing against teleport happy Akumas. Option selects make it the most fun fight.

On knockdown:

1) teleport away = get Ultra II'd
2) teleport behind = get EX Tatsu'd

EX Tatsu > U1 bugs the shit out of me. Not so much because of the buffering but because of how tight the timing is. Not to mention at times it feels character specific (eg. Gen tends to fall out of U1 a lot). I also vastly prefer EX Hadoken because I know I can hit confirm into it.

Always figured if you want to go practice awkward, go play with SPS > c.HP. Then add in HP SRK after the c.HP and L2+ FA before the SPS.

The timing for other stuff is a lot worse. Yang's HK dp > u2 for example. The combo that looks like it shouldn't land, but does.

Even yun's st mp > lp shoulder xx gj > u1 is more specific.
