    Convince me why I wont regret buying a PS3

    I'm at the point where I can start to justify spending money on my self due to my financial standing. Convince me why buying a PS3 isnt a waste of my money, I'm especially interested in games. Multiplayer games would probably increase interest if there were enough good ones.

    also as far as blu ray players, I've heard the ps3 blu ray player is very very good as far as blu ray players go, beats out many standalone players

    yeah, upgradable blu-ray player, with media streaming capabilities which not many blu ray players have. Plus it's getting the update to allow 3D blu ray movies and games some time this year.

    This started out as a list I made trying to convince myself just looking at PS3 games on wiki. IDK if this says anything about me but the only games I'm really looking forward to playing right now for 100% sure are Bioshock 2, DMC4, and (!)Darksiders.

    Others I'd like to play but not dying to play include
    Assassin's Creed
    Rachet and Clank
    Infamous
    God of War
    MW2
    Dead Space 2
    Mirror's Edge
    Prototype

    Games I sort of want to play
    Uncharted 2 (by recommendation)
    Resident Evil 5 (by recommendation)
    White Knight Chronicles (pending reading a review)
    Heavenly Sword

    No idea what type of shit you're in to so kinda hard to recommend something you'll like. But as far as good story and impressive graphical power goes, Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 are both good games. Assassin's Creed 1 was shit.

    Valkyria Chronicles is a must buy same with Uncharted 2
    Dead Space, Infamous and Prototype are pretty fun
    Killzone 2, MAG and CoD: MW2 if you're into FPS.
