    Human Target

Anyone else watched this yet? I saw the pilot, and it looks interesting.
    From lolwiki
Human Target is an American action drama television series broadcast by Fox in the United States. It is based on the comic book character of the same title created by Len Wein and Carmine Infantino, and developed for television by Jonathan E. Steinberg. The show began airing on Fox on January 17, 2010.

The series follows the life of Christopher Chance (Mark Valley), a unique private contractor, bodyguard and security expert hired to protect his clients. He protects his clients by completely integrating himself into the lives of the client, to become the human target. Chance is accompanied by his business partner Winston (Chi McBride) and hired gun Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley). He puts himself on the line to find the truth behind the mission. Even his own business partner Winston doesn't know what drove him towards this life – becoming the human target.
Mark Valley has been in a ton of stuff. Chi McBride was Emerson Cod in Pushing Daisies, Jackie Earle Haley was Rorschach in Watchmen. The first ep had several great guest stars, Tricia Helfer, Danny Glover, and so on. Has some potential.

Watched the Pilot, love the show so far. I liked the guest appearance at the end haha. When is this airing so I know when to look at ninjavideo to watch the new one?

I somewhat liked the episode. it was okayish. The cast is good, I just wasn't feeling it. This kind of show seems like it can get boring really fast. It might do well because it is on after AI though. I'll give it a few more weeks.

It was ok, writing was a little too comic bookie. If they refine the show a bit I think it has potential.

Well its based on a comic book, so I wouldn't call that a flaw per se.

If it is going to be successful it needs to appeal to a broader audience than those who know of it as a comic book. If they cut the cheese content by 5-10% and replace that with a bit more of a mature tone I think the show will be really good. In the pilot Christopher Chase comes off as a 15 year old, there is a difference between cockiness and confidence.

I really enjoyed Guerro, aka Rorschach. I think if anything makes the show for me, it'll be his involvement. He can be one scary bastard.

2nd episode also had Zalenka from SG:A.

Anyone up for running odds on how many BSG and Sci-Fi channel actors we'll see over the season?

Edit: Addendum. First episode on sunday, second episode on wednesday, third episode on tuesday. I SMELL CANCELLATION!

After seeing the pilot, the only word that comes to mind, is GENERIC. This is a show that has enough action to sit through for 40 mins, but then easily forgotten. The only memorable part of the show was the end with the cameo by Danny Glover. Otherwise, I'll stick to 24 for tv action and chuck for tv action/comedy.

Well, the plot of Avatar is accused of being generic. It's said Shakespeare has written every story that can be told, yet his works are still performed and watched today. There is nothing wrong with generic, if it is executed well.

And there is nothing wrong with Jackie Earle Haley or Chi McBride's execution.

I think the show is decent, and since I only use my TV to watch Burn Notice it's nice to have another show to watch as well.

It's easier if you dvr or torrent. Cut out commercials and you get 15-20 minutes back each hour. Can squeeze a few extra shows in.

well by not watching shitty reality TV, sports, etc I have time for shows that look remotely interesting, and if the concept intrigues me I watch a few episodes to decide if I like it.
