I'm a little late on the uptake but this latest Eminem album is pretty damn solid
originally I just downloaded it from what.cd figuring I'd get a ton of uploads to boost my ratio, but then after I had it synced to my Zune and gave it a listen one time a couple weeks back it started growing on me

The album is better than a lot of people give credit but it is kind of all on the same note in both concept and in sound.

that's not necessarily a bad thing, and honestly, did you expect an em album without serial killers, violence, drugs and whatever?
so many sick lines, verses, beats, and sincere laughs (the random fart noise in whichever song gets me every time)

It honestly would be fine if the album were about all of those things instead of really just being about the drugs with the rest kind of just showing up very scarcely. In sound the overall accent kind of puts a damper on things too since it's just everywhere. It's easy for it to all kind of drown together eventually, and keep in mind that I actually like the album. SINCE the album he's kind of gone back to where it's at, but in the end I'll give credit where it's due, the lyrics have never really fallen off.

Yeah man it's good shit. Same Song and Dance is so fucking good. It has crazy bass too if you got some good headphones or a good system.
Like Ryko said, not enough credit given to that album, he does some sick shit with his lyrics. If you analyze the rhyme patters there's some crazy shit going on.
