Scott won...Coakley conceded to him on the phone too...
Hey Elly! <3 I gotta ask are you and Smed goin to PAX East in March? I'm probably gonna be attending the weekend days & meeting up with a few people from who-knows-where.. and who knows I might dress up for this one LOL
You pretty much got it right on - Coakley plain blew this race on her own by being complacent and thinking she could sleepwalk into the Senate on a sympathy vote for Ted Kennedy. And then when she finally figured out it wasn't gonna happen it was too late and she pulled the desperation move with the nonstop garbage ads. She earned this loss for herself. Shit I wouldn't have voted for her!
Spoiler: show
Well done, Scott Brown. You won on a completely vapid campaign where you ran away from your base and were too afraid to say the word "republican". And nobody held your feet to the fire.
Really unsurprised by this turnout. Can we finally put to rest the stupid meme of "liberal media bias"?![]()
Bwahaha
Now things get interesting... Or even more underhanded I suppose.
...utotallyreadingwaytoomuchintowhatisaid.
But go ahead and do so. Conservatives are going to spin themselves silly over the pro-choice candidate they managed to elect.
I find the game much more fascinating than the outcomes. I'm happy for the republicans, and think they should have the night. Swiping Ted Kennedy's seat is a valuable prize.
So, since Brown won, the GOP now has won the Presidency.
IN YOUR FACE OBAMACARE!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
And better yet from a state that HAS A PUBLIC OPTION
LOLOLOL
<-------- My WINNAR Face!!
Where to next? More control this November and the White House in 2012!
Edit: I mean TEA PARTY control too! Screw the GoP.
No I mean from a state that knows it doesn't work.
riiiiight
what happens when some form of the bill passes and the republicans can't blame it on a filabuster proof majority? This takes away the one thing the republican party NEEDS - someone to blame!
I can cite you a poll if you'd like.
People of MA like their health care coverage, which includes public subsidies.
Let's say ya'll are right and it is a wonderful idea.
Most Americans DON'T want it. So why force it down our throats?
Are we just not smart enough to understand?
