I do, and I have plenty of family members who have picked up that gun. I'm better at fighting the political fight here at home.

And I see your point on the taking money from you thing. If i thought like that, I would leave the country and move to Sweden. Which a lot of antiwar ppl have.

Washington and the Democrats might as well seat Scott Brown tomorrow, then maybe at least one republican will have change of heart and vote yes on health care during the senate vote...I'm pretty sure some Republicans are getting tired of the bullshit their party is putting up...

Egon believes that the government is going to hand out health care policies with food stamps and cheese.

That's what the Republicans will demand and cry about. Too bad MA state law requires at least 10 days before the Secretary of State can certify the election.

Actually Egon's one of the ones who thinks even food stamps and cheese are too much.

    Interesting

Senator Jim Webb puts out a statement that puts the notion of a quick Senate vote out of reach and pretty much makes a certification fight moot:

In many ways the campaign in Massachusetts became a referendum not only on health care reform but also on the openness and integrity of our government process. It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders. To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated.

I'm really not anti-war, just making the point that your tax dollars don't always go to things that directly benefit you. But you still pay them. It's the cost of living here. Do you really think that things like social security, medicare, welfare, unemployment, etc are things that the working class shouldn't pay for? If not, then why is universal heath care the straw that broke the camel's back?

ER is only there to stabilize and release. Its not meant for preventative care which is why it fails.

This is coming from Egon who thinks Tennessee is a 'fair tax' state. So Excuse the retard.
