call your isp, something is fucked on their end, as soon as it leaves your network, you start going extremely high (10.1.1.1 is likely your router)

this would be more logical if it happened in prime time and you were on cable, but you have DSL and it happens at noon...

call them and have them run a line test, something somewhere on their end is messing up...

however since you also have DSL, make sure you have those filter things installed on your phone jacks... i kinda doubt this is it, but they will make you check it

Thanks, yeah, this is for our connection at work, we have a budget IT "consultant" and an even crappier DSL company that probably only serves about 5 people. I highly doubt they'll be able to correct it if its their issue, it if was our problem at least I could push for a new router / whatever was needed.

Our DSL provider is so small and crappy that they didn't even have a UPS on their servers for a while so every time there was a power fluctuation our internet would go out for an hour or so lol.

Also if you have an alarm system that's hooked up through the phone, that can actually fuck with it pretty badly. I had a similar situation to that once, so I unplugged the alarm system (cos I wasn't using it, fuck paying for that in a rental property as a student lol) and it improved massively.

(well, after they noticed it and called and sent guys around and the guys properly unhooked it anyway lol.)
