So create the folder, copy the stuff into it, and see what happens when it runs? That's what I would do.
oh, did you download this file? http://download.aircrack-ng.org/aircrack-ng-1.0-win.zip You may have just downloaded the source tar.gz instead.
and one time i tried it, it gave a folder similar to yours, but w/ no bin folder. The one you just linked me has a bin folder which also has other shit in it.
Don't you need custom DLLs to get that running in Windows? Do you have those?
Personally I'd just download and run the virtual machine they have linked there.
hmm I'm not sure what you're even talking about tbh, I was following the directions of this tutorial
http://gojeremygo.blogspot.com/2008/...-wireless.html
Which brought me to that page in one of its steps, then said to come back to the tutorial when I finished that little part.
Ok, I'm currently at the part where Commview is collecting packets from my unsuspecting WEP neighbor. If I have it set to save the logs, do I need to leave this non stop? The reason I ask is because the guide says I need 200,000 packets and its been on for about 10 mins now and i only have 3000. No way in hell I'll be able to leave my laptop here for that amount of time (and can't even connect to the web w/ that card now lol had to use my built in one to get back here to post). and resume at a later time? I'll just leave it on when I sleep rly.
Takes a while, let it run.
yea i could see it'd take a while. My question though is if I can pause/resume via saving logs. Main reason is I can't let it run for that long in a row. I take this laptop to school every day, lol. At the speed its going, don't think it'll get 200,000 in a one day period.
I've not used this program but overnight would probably do it. Also, I need to refresh the page before I post on things (the unedited comment was me thinking you were still stuck on where to put stuff or if things existed before you double posted)...
Start looking around in the program. It has to store those packets somewhere, so maybe it doesn't need to be continuous... Can't really help since my craptop doesn't have a compatible wireless card.
