So what's the verdict on the game? Better than 2? Worth the purchase?

I liked the campaign in 2 better (minus the fun shit like jetpacks and new guns), but the input delay that made it control weird that a lot of people complained about seems to be gone. Haven't played the online yet but if it's anything like KZ2, it should be great.

I like KZ2's SP better, and KZ3's MP better.

Pros:
-Controls are so much better
-You're not absolutely fucked when you're starting out
-Unlocking skills and weapons is much easier
-Classes are much more interesting; each class gets 3 main weapons and 3 sub weapons that lend themselves to different playstyles rather than being straight upgrades from something else (for the most part)
-Both skills for each class are actually useful
-Operations mode is pretty cool

Cons:
-SP story is braindead retarded, even for a FPS
-You can't mix-and-match secondary skills
-The clan system is nothing compared to KZ2's
-No spawn grenades; spawn points are defined spots on the map which must be fought over like areas in capture and hold
-CoD-style melee attacks
-Occasional wtf moments from hit detection


Most of the maps are pretty fun, but one in particular (Corinth Highway) almost always turns into a lopsided slaughter within a couple minutes.

I really enjoy it. I would rent it before buying it first though. This game clearly isn't for everyone. Some people I know just can't play it.
