My thoughts about Charles. He was in Ben's closet. A closet that held an armory of things, which may of included a bullet proof vest. Ben knew this and is why he shot him before Locke could slit his throat.

MiB can't change bodies anymore. He said it in one of the earlier episodes that he was trapped in Locke's body, so his options are either cloud of smoke, or Locke.

I'm thinking Widmore is still alive too, since they never showed his corpse. I was thinking bullet proof vest, too.

If that is the case, Ben's taking a pretty big gamble that Charles would see the vest and put it on. But I guess, it was either shoot him, hoping he has the vest, but if not, mildly satisfying for Ben, or just let him get killed by MiB.

In response to the finale spoiler posted... concerning candidates.

Rose is a candidate to... Just as Jacob said, "its just chalk on the wall'. Rose's cancer was cured on the island (candidate qualities) and at first, Rose didn't have her love Bernard due to him being on the other side of the island. Once Bernard reunited with Rose, Jacob crossed her name out.

Rose and Bernard got Desmond but MiB threatens to kill R&B if Desmond doesn't come with him... MiB doesn't know Rose is actually a candidate due to "Jacob's Rules" (Back in Across the Sea, MiB as a kid tells Jacob "one day you can make you rules".) Jacobs rules as in, the chalk doesn't mean anything. MiB can't kill candidates so he can't really kill Rose. I dunno, I'm just ranting. But I totally knew R&B were still out there on the island. They are really the neutral party on the island, the peacekeepers not wanting to take part in all of the bullshit. Vincent to, woot, my favourite TV dog. Maybe he goes into the light and becomes some demon dog.

In the end... Miles and Sawyer run shit on the island. Tag teaming polar bears for eternity while Locke plays chess.

Oh, btw, the concert is obviously David's concert in which David is playing... So, yea, Jack will be there for Kate to meet. It's all coming as planned! Muahahahha! Also will Dogen be there with his son? Jack met him in a similar situation before. We will meet David's mom, Jack's ex? Who is she??

Didn't read your spoliers, but as for the concert, I thought they were talking about the Driveshaft concert with Charlie + Daniel at the museum that Eloise was planning, which they've been pimping all season. Hope I'm not getting wooshed.

The Driveshaft/Faraday concert was a while back, this concert is different and David will be playing piano there. If everybody is supposed to gather at this concert I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie & Faraday show up to play their too.

Watching those interviews on <redacted> was funny as hell. They asked Ben before this episode about his path to redemption.

Also sad to see Mathew turned down coming back.

All we have seen is party-planning, my impression was the Driveshaft concert was for the museum which Eloise has been helping plan and everyone is talking about going to in this episode, i.e. it hasn't happened yet. David doesn't say it's HIS concert, he just asks, "you're going to the concert tonight, right?" if I remember correctly.

-Charlie and Faraday will be there performing
-Desmond is bringing Kate, I'm assuming Hurley and Sayid are off picking up other people and will be meeting Desmond at the museum
-Jack is bringing David, Jack's ex-wife will also be there
-Dr. Chang and Charolette will be there
-Miles and possibly Sawyer will be there
-Widmore and Eloise will be there, Penny is on the guest list and will be there

Those are the people we know to be going so far, and it sounds a big enough event that I'm sure more will be going as well.

I can't help but think Richard is still alive, though that's probably me wondering if his immortality is along the lines of not aging, or something out of the old Highlander show.

I could see them pulling a "widmore had a bullet proof vest on" but considering it's the last episode I somehow doubt it. Kinda lame though if that is how he died, considering how hyped up he was.

Hope Ben is just playing smokey for a chump.

Weren't they setting the silverware when Desmond met Eloise? You don't set silverware days/weeks before an event.

Charlie told Desmond he's going to be looking for Claire, not playing the concert.

Minkowski may also be at the concert since he works for Widmore and all, unless the concert doesn't even concern Widmore. That brings another character from the island to the concert.

Charlie will meet Claire, Desmond will meet Penny, Jack and Kate will meet. Sayid will meet Shannon or Nadia, Sawyer will meet Juliet, Faraday will meet Charlotte.

I dunno, I just see happy endings for all in the flash-sideways.. Possible total destruction and death in the island reality.

Wasn't Fox, was Abadon. (sp) I was always disappointed with his exit since he was shrouded in mystery. Just makes me a tiny bit happier to know that they did plan to add more depth to him.

Actor that played boone was spotted weeks ago when they were filming the finale so it looks like it. I got to wondering if we'll see him again since the premiere.
