I can already see the very last shot of the series being Jack and Locke sitting on a log, and Locke saying, "You know how much I want to kill you, right?". After basically losing all respect for Jack somewhere between Season 4 and 5, it's nice to see his character finally believe. I loved the flash sideway with him telling Locke, "I wish you had believed me."

Sun and Jin part was abrupt, but the whole thing was so touching that it worked for me. And you can say whatever you want about the two, but I loved watching their relationship fix itself on the island.

MIB alluded to both Jin and Sun being Candidates. Also, someone linked a few pages back to ABC selling the 6 Candidate posters and Jin and Sun were both on it.

Yeah, with their deaths it kinda confirms that the one word 'Kwon' was referring to both Sun & Jin together being 1 candidate.

It isn't the first time in the series the two were paired up as if they are one person (see every kwon centric episode).

These past few episodes have been so good, but they have also kind of shown me how pointless Dogen and Lennon and the entire temple seemed. Watching the episodes now, I don't even remember what Dogen and the Temple others even contributed to the show, let alone do I miss them as characters.

I wish they would've like cut them out, because now it seems like the 4 episodes where half the cast were stranded inside the temple seem wasted, and now these episodes seem a bit rushed. I also feel like its a bit late in the game to have several important characters just up and go on a journey in which they aren't seen for like 3-4 episodes. Ben/Richard/Miles left at the beginning of Hurley's, weren't in tonight's, and wont be in next week's.

You didn't expect everyone to live happily ever after did you? look at the Sopranos. with epic shows come epic consequences (who knows maybe even Tony got capped). Will Locked and Jack make it? Who knows.(They want you to think that but that in turn makes me think.. Nope.) They might flip the script and have Kate and Sawyer take over..

I'm really hoping that the flash-sideways merges into the other timeline and they're alive and happy again.

I like how at the start of the season Fox said the two would merge by the halfway point of the season.

Also, since there are only a couple episodes left I feel like a certain someone made a HUGE spoiler on a talk show a few weeks back.

Juilet was on Kimmel and said she shot a few more scenes after her death scene, just wasn't sure when they would air it. The fact that they hadn't done so yet alludes to it being in the finale, which kinda disappoints me since it points towards where we are going. Was hoping it would happen in a flash sideways by the halfway point of the season.

Can't wait for Richard, Ben, and Miles to show up out of nowhere with bombs and blow the fuck out of everyone. Lost has the formula right. In order to end a season, you need lots and lots of explosions for the last five episodes. Endless supply's of TNT and C4.

Did they ever explain (or hinted) what kind of experiments the Other's were doing on Waltz in season 2? In this season, most Others were as clueless as the main character. It's kinda strange for them to do weird experiments if they didn't really know more.

Most of the Walt and Libby stuff got lost to the writers strike.

I'm surprised so many people enjoyed this episode, cause it really pissed me off. I mean first off like 4 boxes of C4 did nothing but blow a little hole in the wall of the sub, Sun suddenly became magneto and had every piece of fucking metal in the sub glue itself to her, and then Kate went from dying from a terrible bullet would and being unable to get up to being fine and dandy on the beach. Fucking Hurly almost made me cry with his pitiful yelp though

Like them or not, Sun and Jin have to be one of the most fucked with couples on TV. They hardly ever caught a break the whole run of the show.

There is one reason why I think Frank might still be alive: Michael Ausiello's May Sweeps Scorecard (spoilers on here for other shows, but as of now it is mostly blank.) Of the 18 deaths that are supposed to happen this month, Frank is not listed there yet (and he did update it for last night.) So, I guess it's possible he somehow lived that, though I have my doubts.

Still, if he did live, can we stop having him pilot things? He crashed a plane, crashed a helicopter, and now was in charge of a blown up sub. I know, not all of this is his fault, but come on, dude has some serious shit luck.

Dunno about the C4, it shoulda killed the sub and everyone on board - maybe the island muted it somehow since it was away from the candidates?
Sun was just in a crappy spot and the computer that fell on her also twisted the railing or whatever it was around her and simple human strength couldn't untwist it.
The Island heals if you don't die of it? It's a gradual process, not instant. If they'd just stayed on the dock she would have been fine? Okay, not really, but it's the closest I can figure out. It did help Rose, who wasn't a candidate, but lots of people died of gunshots.

I agree. Not only these 2 characters were ridiculous, they served nothing and the whole temple seemed uneeded. I guess they wanted to show us who the Other were before getting ride of them, but it's still stupid.

Human can kill human, it's not about candidate. The only rules to my understanding is that Jacob/MiB can't kill candidate, and candidate can't kill themselves.


The bomb wouldn't have killed the candidate since Locke set it up, but the moment Sawyer touched it, the bomb became Sawyer's problems and could kill anyone.
