    Aircard/How much is 5GB?

First, I apologize if this was discussed at some point and I missed it. I did a search but it didn't yield the results I wanted. My inquiry is this: Most wireless companies provide you service with an aircard that maxes out at 5GB before they start charging you overrage fees - would anyone be able to tell me in layman's terms approximately how much time on FF that would actually encompass? I know there are instances where the send/recieve is bumped way up because of things such as beseiged and the like, but I'm looking moreso for an average gameplay data transfer rate then equated into hours. Thanks in advance.

MMORPGs don't consume much as a rule. Maybe 10MB/hour, depending on how high-traffic an area you're usually in?

According to some of the articles I've read, WoW is about .5KB/s, or 1.8 MB/hour. I can't imagine FFXI could be much more, especially since it's capped at 56k.

You will never use up 5GB just playing FF and doing some casual web surfing.

YouTube videos and excessively image-heavy sites will burn that bandwidth more quickly.

I wouldn't make a habit of perusing several pages of RIT/FoD or Media threads on a daily basis while watching several videos a day on YouTube, but some casual use won't put you over.

Thank you both very much for the replies. Didn't know you still played Amastacia.
