I guess I'll pick it up and try it out. I've got a bong already that I use mostly. So if it doesn't work out I can always fall back on that.

I was mostly wondering about how smooth the inhale was. Seems like it is really smooth from most accounts here.

Couple of my friends can't smoke for shit either, so this might be a good way to get them into it. What is it with women not understanding the concept of inhaling lol.

I've had success teaching others by putting water in the bong, and then filling the entire think with ice. Really cools the smoke down so it isn't as harsh. That hasn't even worked for them though lol.

if you buy a $70 vaporizer, you will regret it. seriously. a good vaporizer will NEVER be that cheap

never hit a surfer, but volcanos are legit. a lot of people start vaporizing on $50-200 vaporizers when really, you should be starting on a volcano or something similar (fast heat times, accurate readers, quality and craftsmanship). surfers are around the midrange if i remember correctly, so at least it should conserve your weed while giving you a different high, but it might be a kind of pipey-addict feeling high.

if you've ever had a weed stomach ache (withdrawal or irritation), vaporizers do a pretty good job of getting rid of those. the comedown of a vaporizer is much more gradual

The biggest con of a vaporizer for me is that I enjoy the act of smoking. I don't smoke cigarettes and I am just an occasional pot smoker, so when I do smoke, I want to well...smoke. Using a vaporizer isn't smoking (as far as im concerned). It is definitely a somewhat different high and a little weird the first time I did it (not in a bad way, just different). I think prolly the only thing I would consistently use one for is mids/cheap weed, since it won't be anywhere near as harsh. If I have the good stuff, something about a vaporizer just doesn't do it justice.

if you have something bad to say, you really need to explain WHICH vaporizer you're talking about. there is a significant difference between a 200 and a 400 dollar vaporizer. dank is BEST used in a (real) vaporizer because its more efficient and gives the best vaporizer highs, meaning the two whole reasons you bought the vaporizer are increased. seriously havent seen anyone in this thread talking about bad experiences from a volcano or higher, and i really doubt i'm going to.

only thing about volcanoes that is bad is that when listening to the bag inflate, i got this weird anxious feeling. it's like a crescendo building and doesn't stop until you pull it off the vap

A good friend of mine dropped around 400$ on a really nice Volcano Vape. It's like breathing air as people have said, but I'd definitely agree the high is different. It takes a while to kick in and you don't notice it as much, unlike a good bong where after you take a big hit you know you're baked. Personally, I prefer the bong I have with a double percolater. Also it's annoying to have to heat up for 5-10min before you want to smoke. However, it is really nice to use when we are doing something like playing video games because all you have to do is suck air out of a bag making it so the game doesn't need to be interrupted.

There's pros and cons, personally I don't think it is worth the money, and after using it my lungs don't really feel much better than if I'd hit the bong.

Edit2- The nicest thing I can say about the Vape we use is that there is almost no smell at all. We have had sessions of smoking for an hour or more and people have come in to hang out and said they couldn't smell it at all, in a fairly small apartment. Last week we did about the equivalent of two or three bowls and then my friends Mom and sister came over for dinner and didn't notice a thing. We were finishing the last bag maybe 5min before they walked in too. It's also more efficient as has been said, refilling the vape three times with 3-4 people makes you feel like you've smoked ton.

That thing looks nice, although it doesn't look like there would be a way to put ice in, I'mna jump on the bandwagon and say a few ice cubes makes smoking out of a bong so much nicer. I love it.

anyone in CO have a medical license? i just got mine and its awesome being able to go to a "store" and buy good weed; also if your near boulder they have nice bud, 8/10 quality most the time

Oh I see what you mean, I hadn't thought of that. Mine has a spot at the top specifically to hold ice, I didn't think that people put ice in the bottom. It works pretty nice, since there is two percolators and then ice right by your mouth so the hit is always nice and cool.

Yea, to me there is just something I love about taking a monster hit from a bong. The goal of a vapo is to get high...that is completely it. The social aspect just isn't the same, and to me I love when someone takes a huge hit and coughs up a lung. I guess it just depends how often you smoke and where your priorities are.

The bong I have is a short fat one. It looked cool so I bought it. I slways fill the bong up with ice completely lol, all the way up the neck as well.

Is there an advantage to a taller one over a shorter fat one.... or that double perc. one someone mentioned above?

I'm going to pass on the vaporizer completely since the $70 would basically be worthless lol. I have too many expensive hobbies as it is to drop $500~ to smoke pot haha.

By new I've been smoking once or twice a week for like the last 8-10 months? Occasionally more, rarely less. I have trouble sleeping sometimes as well, so I usually smoke during the week if I'm having trouble sleeping.... shit works like a charm. Prior to that I would only really smoke weed at parties if people brought shit and were sharing.

First paragraph is so true, I bought my vape about 7 months ago and I loved it for a while, but eventually I was back to my double perc'd 33" beast. I have a pic but I can't post links

I live in Evergreen, Co and I'm actually goin to a doctor for my recommend in about 2 hours. I'm kinda giddy like a schoolgirl for the weed store, but you probably know how that feels lol.
