Don't watch Prometheus then, you'd be able to fly the Enterprise through the plot holes.
or dont watch any movie ever
Speaking on plot holes, I rewatched Star Trek 1 (New universe) last night, it was on FX.
Dear Lord, why did people (including me) love it so much?!?!?!?! I can handle the fact they rewrote the universe, that happens in reboots, but some of the storyline crap is insanely bad. "Star Trek order 619, a commander is emotionally compromised...." Oh my, rewatching with a critical eye, it's pretty bad.....
just saw the movie

I'm sitting for the 3D IMAX right now. Starts in 20. They gave us some sweet glow in the dark movie posters.

^got the same poster after watching it tonight.
I liked it buuuuuuuuuuuut, I would have enjoyed it more if I never saw any Star Trek movies before.

Damnit, spoiler times, I will see yall after Friday.
I only had the one poster, the others were for the people that went with me. Hopefully they'll give them out all opening weekend. I think you have to see it in IMAX for that particular one, as it has IMAX trademarks on it.
fuck I clicked a spoiler by accident *cry*.
Sounds pretty great regardless, I'm looking forward to it even more now.
Just saw it. Good, not better than the first. Instead of making a new story, they did a bizarro remake of an original, which made it a little boring and predictable at times. Looking forward to the next.
Was there anything after the credits? I didn't think there would be so left. Also this movie was hands down better then Iron Man 3 in terms of delivery imo, also I would say it was on par with the 1st movie even if it did heavy hand some shit.
Spoiler: show
Just got back from seeing it. There were good parts, there were bad parts. There were a number of scenes that felt like they were supposed to be clever homages that just came across as lazy. The climax was silly and didn't make any sense given the parameters established by the rest of the film. Overall, I found it kind of disappointing. Probably worth a watch, but don't get your hopes up that because this is an even numbered Star Trek movie, it's going to be good.

Was very entertaining to watch, even if it was predictable at times, but god damn, those lense flares... should have titled it "Into Lense Flares"... seriously so unnecessary. Can't wait for "Everything that's wrong with..." review.

You mean "...from the depths of Hell I stab at thee!" or some such?
